Ice machine on the floor of our room was not functioning the whole stay, the air conditioner works great unfortunately it blows in the direction of the bed, the pool was a bit cloudy (the filter was not running when we were out there on Saturday afternoon.

The pool was filthy. Lots of bugs on top and the bottom was really dirty. There was trash laying around the pool area on tables and right beside the pool. There was no continental breakfast. For the price of our stay, it could have been included. There was a restaurant on site, but was very expensive. There were 4 of us in the room and we had to ask for towels. If it's a double queen room, why not put 4 towels in the room to begin with?

Location was awesome! Loved the lake view. The beds were comfortable.

The only thing I didn’t like was that there wasn’t free coffee in the lobby, but I understand. It’s offered in the rooms and it’s for sale in the dining room so I get it. Don’t like it, but I get it.

There’s not one thing I could say about this visit, property, room, amenities that wouldn’t be absolutely complementary of the staff and the great service we received.

This last visit, they seem to have stopped the morning coffee service in the lobby. They provide in-room coffee, but I generally need more than one cup. They used to provide coffee in the lobby in the mornings, but they seem to have stopped that recently which was a bummer.

We have stayed at the DoubleTree multiple times in Hot Springs, when we travel through. Everything is always clean and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is nice and we used it as well. You have to love the warm cookie they give you on arrival too.

The lady at the front desk could have been friendly. I came in and we greeted, I stated my name and once she look at my information her whole attitude change. I felt like she didn't want me there.

The view was wonderful and the room and bathroom were great. The lobby view was very beautiful.

I encountered multiple, small nagging issues with the night desk clerk Diane (maybe Diana). I asked for cookies to which she asked if I planned on paying for them. I responded that I thought they were complimentary and she said they had a large group coming in that night and they needed them for their check in. I then asked how much they would cost to which she sighed, very obviously annoyed by my presence and proceeded to give me three cookies for my group. The second inconvenience was when my family and I went to swim. I read on the site that towels were available at the front desk and there was no need to bring ours from the room. I reluctantly proceeded to the desk and was once again met by Diane telling me that I don’t get the towels from the desk, I have to bring mine from my room. At this point, I opted out of returning upstairs to retrieve my room towel. My family and I proceeded to the pool and I chose to only put my feet in so that I wouldn’t need a towel. Later, my father joined us out at the pool. Seeing us without towels, he went to the front desk and inquired. He was met with no resistance and given multiple pool towels. I do understand that she could have been possibly overwhelmed by the night. I have been a laboratory scientist working night shift for the past ten years. At the time of both of my inquiries, there was no one else at the desk. I’m not sure why I was treated so differently and I definitely did not feel respected or appreciated as a customer. Please note that all other staff was amazing and very respectful. It was only these two negative experiences with this one individual.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile by Tony, and was pleasantly surprised to find both of my rooms were ready earlier than expected. The hotel had a fresh, clean aroma. Everything was beautiful. The personalized greeting on the tv was a great touch. I love personalized things. We had a beautiful view and enjoyed ourselves overall.
