Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sint MaartenThe AC was noisy. The room did not smell fresh I guess because of the carpet in the room. A front desk agent was not very much hospitable when we had issue with a washer. Did not want to reimburse us for the soap. Told us to scoop it out which was not what we expected to hear from him. After complaining he decided to reimburse for the soap and the use of another machine.
Change of towels every other day was sufficient and the housekeeper on our floor was very pleasant.

The staff were accommodating with my request for early check-in and providing updates. The hotel was very close to the airport.

The staff was awesome! Richard and I can't remember the other young man name expedited our check-in process. I was skeptical about our stay before arriving because of the reviews, but I'm glad I decided to go ahead and book the reservation. We stayed two separate nights during the 4th of July week and we had no issues. Yes, the hotel is dated, but it was clean to my standards and I'm picky...lol. For the price and being across the street from the airport was a bonus. I said all that to say, that my husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Clarion and we consider staying again in the future.
