Breakfast met bare minimum of definition. Pre-made “scrambled eggs?” Yuck. (There are at least three rather great diners less than five minutes by car nearby.) Same with in-room coffee: only just reaches threshold of what might be considered coffee. Overall, amenities are mediocre.

Good security and quiet room. AC was very effective. Shower not bad. In-room fridge capacious and kept a good chill on my morning yogurt, my protein shake and my evening can of beer. TV outdated but easy to navigate with plenty of DISH channels on offer.

There was noise from the highway inside the room so I bought earplugs. The breakfast did not look too appetizing so I just made the instant oatmeal packet. The neighborhood looked a bit unsafe so we moved all our belongings into our room, and left nothing in the car.

Our restroom smelled like cigarettes. It was especially strong when we turned on the fan. We had to keep the door closed at all times. It was hard when we had to use the restroom.

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Parking was good. Felt safe during the stay.

I'm pretty sure it's time for new mattresses as there were definite divots and lumps. Caused hips to hurt if not moved regularly. There is black mold around air conditioner. Also no chair that will work for desk and no light for padded chair in hall/walkway to beds. And why I'll never understand do you provide ONE luggage rack for 4 people.

It was quiet. No noise from upstairs or either neighbor or hallway.

The staff were not so nice, the room beside us had a party in the middle of the night and they just called them on the phone to stop and they never stopped and we couldn’t sleep at all. The breakfast is so bad too

I didn’t like that when I arrived at check in after 4:00 pm I was given a room that hadn’t been cleaned. The cleaning person stopped me from coming into my room and told me it would be another 20 minutes. I was frustrated that they didn’t have a clean room ready. They did switch me rooms though, which I appreciated.

Breakfast is 5/10. The room smelled weird, was not clean properly, bathroom was gross hair from previous tenants, the toilet paper wasn’t a new roll had been used, trash right by the elevator, trash in and on the desk ect wouldn’t recommend find something better

The main area is nice and there was free breakfast. But the food was 5/10 & the cleanliness was not there. No one without a key had access to the property inside

The safety lock on the door didn't lock. The lights by the bed did not work due to one of the outlet sockets on the wall not working. The phone by the bed was not hooked.

The location was quiet and secluded from the main street. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable.

I've lived in San Jose for most of live and I've never actually check this hotel out before until recently. Very neat location, next to the Capitol Drive-In and CalTrain station, perfect for taking early morning trips to San Francisco. This was the only place I was able to book for me and my girlfriend before the prices skyrocketed due to the NVIDIA AI conference happening that week. Very comfortable room and beds, TV was great and included DirectTV, tho I mostly ended up using my personal Amazon Fire TV stick to stream YouTube and other shows on it. The breakfast was quite good, who doesn't love making fresh waffles off the iron? 🧇 The scrambled eggs were alright, tho they were powered eggs, but the sausages made up for it. The cheese omlettes they had on some days were delicious! Only slight issues we had is that cover for the ceiling light randomly came off on the last day of our stay, and we couldn't put it back together. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay, and the staff was very helpful and housekeeping were on point when they fixed up our rooms whenever we went out in our many dates. I'll definitely come back again!
