4 pm check in. That is way too late. I arrived after a 7 hour drive and had to wait in my car for 2 hours because I couldn’t check in until 4 pm. Your lobby was closed and they wouldn’t even let me use a restroom.

As creative as the check-in set up was, I didn't care for it. The fact that the customer was outside, & in order to complete check-in the customer needed to approach the walk-up window to do so. The employees were inside, behind their glass window. The system worked to their benefit in order for them to attend to the customer but the paying customer was inconvenienced by having to stand in line, outside, waiting their turn to approach the window to check-in. That felt a bit inconsiderate but I rolled with it.

Customer Service exemplary attitude: The location is undergoing some construction & they had a creative system set up to check customers in while enduring the inconvenience of construction while doing business. Their attempt to provide adequate service with a good attitude is admirable. Some can pull this off naturally, but when the heat is up, the challenge is to put on your "game face" & do it w/a smile. They did so professionally. They did it without taking out their frustrations of the work environment on the customer & did so respectfully.

wifi kept turning off and on, very frustrating. Other things were broken like the pool heater one day, the juice dispenser one day, the water dispenser in gym indefinitely.

Bed was great, shower got hot quickly, room is spacious, breakfast was more complete than many hotels. The waffle machine was great.

Seems like everything was broken, kind of like nickel and diming us. The pool heater out first day, the water dispenser in gym broken permanently, the juice dispenser was broken one day, the bananas were good one day, green the next, the water was shut off half a day due to a plumbing leak somewhere, the wifi was in and out, which was the most frustrating thing of all.

I liked the pool (although the heater was broken the first day) and the gym (although the water dispenser was broken and I was told it probably wouldn't be fixed or replaced. I liked the waffle maker in the dining room.

I did not like that the front lobby is still under construction many months later.

The breakfast manager is the best. He made sure everything was ready and everyone was happy with the breakfast items.

Rooms need updating desperately. Very close for CBX/TJ AIRPORT access.

A lot of noise, could not sleep well. Room door had a gap around it, so we could hear people walking outside, talking, freeway noise, etc The bathroom faucet threw water sideways.

A lot of construction

Easy access and off the freeway…it was comfortable and breakfast was good. The only thing is we were given the wrong room at first and we walked into someone else’s room. Luckily they had the lock on but we both got startled. Otherwise everything was good

I didn't like that it was under renovations (unbeknownst to us). The pool was closed, the lobby was closed. Had to check in from a side window. It was daylight when we checked in, but at night, seems a little sketchy. The room had a strong odor of bleach as if they JUST "cleaned" our room.

It was close to seseame place and other places (food, liquor store, freeway, walmart). It did have an elevator which was nice. The room did have a mini fridge AND microwave which was a nice surprise.

The room was dirty, an opened water bottle and gummies on the floor. The toilette was slow.

The buffet is simple but good. The room is spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly.

Good motel to stay for visiting Chula Vista area. Rooms facing the gas station are better because you would not hear the freeway on the other side.
