I have only two points of potential concern, but both of them have already been addressed to the greatest extent possible. First is parking. Spaces are necessarily limited, and if you plan to stay out late, you should be prepared to find no spaces available when you return. Return. However, the proprietors have arranged for overflow parking spaces about a block away, so this is a very minor concern. The second is the stairs. The proprietors are very clear from the beginning that as a historical house, there is no elevator. What may not be clear is that the stairs can be a little steep and narrow, making it difficult for people with bad knees or back problems to navigate easily. Again, this is not something that is within the ability of the staff to really change. It is just something that potential guests should make sure they understand.

The breakfast was wonderful, with several available options, including fruit, cereals, pastries, and hot breakfast dishes. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the whole historic aesthetic of the building itself was a true pleasure. We really felt wrapped in the history of the place.

Somewhat dated bathroom, with noisy extractor fan. Location next to massive Interstate road meant a lot more walking to get around it, and the property felt rather cut off from central Providence. We couldn’t hear the traffic noise from our room, though.

Charming old property. We stayed in Room 1 which was very spacious and comfortable. We really appreciated the common room with tea and coffee making facilities, and the lovely breakfasts. Very friendly and helpful staff.

There was a fair amount of noise in our room from the adjacent stairs and the room above; however, this would be part of the character of staying in an older building with wood floors. It was never noisy enough to distrub sleep however.

Breakfast was available each morning with a choice of hot and cold options. The Eggs Florentine and the Smashed Avocado with Egg on Toast were particular highlights. The bed was very comfortable, the room was as described and clean and tidy.

The dining space is a bit small, but I did like the central table for mingling with other people staying at the B&B. Also, as far as room options, would be great to have a 2 Queen option.

The room was spacious and comfortable. I loved the fireplace heater! Kept the room warm and gave a cozy atmosphere to the room. The house was quirky and big. The two staircases were great for traffic flow, even though it was minimal.

This might be our personal preferences. We found the bed too soft and the pillows too hard. Both contributed to not the greatest sleep night.

The room was very nice, comfortable and well equipped. We had an enjoyable breakfast in the breakfast room with friends.

    Nothing to mention

Our room was very spacious with high ceilings and crown molding, a marble fireplace surrounded by two armchairs, a wooden floor (slippery on socks), dorm fridge, a bag of cookies and mints on a desk, and a private bathroom on the smaller side. Room and bathroom were extremely clean. The king-size bed was very comfortable with a firm mattress. There was a common room on the second floor with comfortable furniture, complimentary coffee (Keurig coffee maker), tea, and orange infused water day and night. Snacks and bottled water/juices were available for purchase. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had to pick between 2 time slots for breakfast. The breakfast room has three tables for 2, as well as a community table for 8. Great opportunity to chat with other guests. We were able to pick between two hot breakfast items (one savory, one sweet), and additionally there was granola, oatmeal, bread, parfait, fruits, and baked goods available on a buffet style table.
