United StatesCost of buffet for breakfast to eat. Not everybody wants alot probably toast eggs and juices.
The first night service is very bad. I asked for a vaccum and couldn't get to me. Then the second day is a lot better. And most of the cleaners dont speak engl, so it was hard to communicate with them. I believe that if the hotel provides a continneal breakfast, more people will stay. Due to the cost of the hotel fee and charging a buffet for people to eat, which is more money.

PhilippinesElevator was rickety. Reception person wasn't very friendly but we weren't there to make friends with him. Some people going around in their pyjamas/socks. It was a turn off.
The location was good because it was near a friend's house so it was easy for us to meet up. Parking was free and had enough parking slots so that's great in Chicago area. Breakfast wasn't free but there was a resto there that served large portions of hearty and warm breakfast. Room was basic but good enough for a short warm 2 night stay.

United StatesThere's only one elevator which makes it difficult to get to your room if it's in the North wing of the hotel. Also very strange thing happened during check-in - the clerk didn't see my booking (which I booked under my Booking.com account), however I recieved confirmation and everything. Perhaps something wrong with Booking.com on their end.
The location seemed far away but it's not, right next to a highway. It's away from prying eyes and never did I feel unsafe for my car (just bought a new car). The hotel was cleaned although the hallways were not as clean.

United StatesDidn’t realize marijuana was legal in Illinois. People sitting out front of the hotel smoking it. The smoke made me sick to my stomach while trying to pack up our car. 🤮
Clean room. Value for the area. Not very far to train station to ride into Chicago. Took a little over and hour to make the trip. Rail transit staff was very helpful in guiding us where we needed to go.
