The bed was a little hard, but we still slept fine.

The apartment was cute, clean and very welcoming! We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. Beautiful flowers and gardens outside added to the coziness!

This was a very nice, comfortable apartment for our short stay. Susan was very welcoming and accommodating. The property is beautiful and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The apartment has all of the amenities that you do not find in a hotel room.

It was definitely what I needed, that's for sure. The owner met me as I arrived and she was as nice as one can be. She showed me the place and it was a cozy, well-stocked, beautiful apartment. I knew that I was going to enjoy this place. It truly was what I needed, w/out a doubt. Overall, a beautiful scene. It takes some effort to find the location at night, because there are no street lights in the vicinity and the streets can be winding and narrow.

The place was clean and comfortable. Susan, the host, was very friendly, courteous and helpful. You can't ask for a better host!

Everything. Susan and her husband Rich were amazingly welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Fresh squeezed orange juice from their orange tress. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet and absolutely beautiful. The house itself was very clean, we had everything we needed. Very charming and inviting. I didn’t want to leave.

Susan is the type of host one should aspire to be! Warm, welcoming and thoughtful to say the least. From the fresh picked fruit that awaits your arrival to complimentary coffee and tea. She has thought of all the details to make your stay exceptional. She also provided several different menus from the restaurants in town as well as sightseeing destinations. I'm so glad we chose to stay at Castelgate vs a commercial hotel! The grounds are beautiful! Nestled in the hills, it was the tranquility we needed! We heard several different birds in the morning, saw gorgeous butterflies and heard the coyotes at night. We enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets in the evening. So serene and relaxing! The accommodations also included up to date features like Wi-Fi and every streaming app you can think of as well as direct TV. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to visit Susan's little slice of Heaven again!
