Everything was fine. I haven’t been to many B&B’s so it seemed odd to be waited on and eat at a table by myself.

The owners Marilyn and Larry are wonderful! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was great! It was more than we were used to eating in the morning. I wish I could have eaten more of the delicious Eggs Benedict.

Marilyn and her husband are fantastic hosts. Engaging and enjoyable to talk with. Breakfast was fit for a king and freshly made in the kitchen. We had wonderful conversation over a class of wine from their cellar. They were very helpful in finding and advising me on local restaurants.

Beautiful home in a lovely location. The bedroom was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There is even a shared bonus living room area with a mini-kitchen and fridge, so that was nice. The breakfast was delicious and they accommodated dietary preferences which was great ! The hosts are very warm and welcoming and we would definitely stay here again.

That we didn't get to stay longer!

Everything! The hosts: Marilyn and her sister Teresa were warm, welcoming, and friendly. The location: easy to find, plentiful parking on the roundabout driveway, and 15-min to Grand Lodge where we spent the evening. The grounds: this Italian-styled home feels so grandoise when you walk up and enter. Just gorgeous! Nice agricultural land surrounds the well-manicured grounds. The accommodations: well-appointed rooms each with a private bathroom. Comfortable queen-size beds. Plus a nice bonus room with small fridge and coffee maker right off the bedrooms if you want to watch TV.

Marilyn does a good job making sure everyone has what they need. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was impressive, and the house is in a quiet and pretty environment. It's a terrific place from which to go bike riding on quiet country roads.

Marilyn was a wonderful hostess. She had many lovely touches to add comfort and comvenience. The property is immaculate and comfortable. There are manny spaces to relax both inside and out to enjoy a book or watch the stars. The breakfast was amazing.

Stay here! We booked Casale when we were helping our daughter move to college nearby. The home, the incredible breakfasts and the wonderful hosts were a lovely surprise. The place is beautiful, quiet and classy, while still being very comfortable. Breakfast made by owners Marilyn and Larry is crazy delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

The only way to improve on the experience would be to stay longer. We wished we were there to hang around rather than just stay the night to be in the area in the morning. During hot weather it can be difficult to spend time outside. We would like to have been able to take better advantage of the comfortable and inviting grounds.

A beautiful, open, light, and airy Italianate country villa with friendly and interesting hosts, well-appointed private rooms with their own baths, and extremely quiet day and night. Great location for a Forest Grove area stay, or just to get out into the country for a night or more. We were in the area for an event, but Casale is a destination on its own if you're looking for a getaway, and just a few miles north of Forest Grove for dining out. The house and grounds are so inviting you might want to consider adding an extra day just to hang around. A truly wonderful breakfast including good company and great conversation. I usually avoid the use of the word "gourmet" to describe food because I feel that it is overused, but it fits in this case.

Nothing it was perfect!

GREAT HOSTS, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, A PLEASURE TO TALK TO. AMAZING VIEW, AMAZING BREAKFAST (ALL HOMEMADE AND MUCH MORE THAN YOU CAN EVEN EAT! BEAUTIFUL B&B, A GOOD SIZE BEDROOM WITH PRIVATE BATH! yOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE AS THERE ARE ONLY 2 ROOMS UPSTAIRS THEY RENT OUT, EACH WITH THEIR OWN BATHROOM. Very private and they even offer you some wine when you arrive! A MUST STAY! Our grandaughter was graduating from Pacific University the following morning so it was perfect and so close to the university!

We had a short but wonderful stay at Casale. Marilyn and Larry were wonderful hosts. Our room was comfortable and clean and the patio offers beautiful views. The breakfast is fantastic!

Truly exceptional! A warm welcome, gracious hospitality, a lovely setting, a very nice room, with terrific indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, not to mention the tasty breakfast — firing on all cylinders.

No tv in room. Expensive for just a bed and having to tip toe around.

One very minor issue: it took a fair amount of time for the hot water to reach the shower head when taking a shower. It will not prevent me from staying again should that opportunity come up!

From the moment of arrival to the time we left it was a special experience. Host Marilyn and chef Larry were very engaging with conversation about their Italian themed B and B, historic and current knowledge about the very Dutch influenced surroundings and the fabulous meals they provide guests!
