Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo suggestions - we enjoyed our visit!
We stayed in the Diamond Suite Cottage. It is a separate house from the main B&B. It was wonderful! The bed area was gorgeous, the TV area had a very nice couch, the kitchen area allowed us to store snacks and refrigerated items, plus other kitchen items we didn't use, the bathroom had a wonderful jacuzzi tub & shower! It was very easy to walk to restaurants, historical sites and shopping! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay again!

United StatesThis place was absolutely wonderful for two people. Me and my husband extended our stay in St. Augustine and found this place. It was worth it, if anything, for the location to everything that you’ll want to do in the little downtown area. You can park and walk everywhere. The property was beautiful and our room was cozy and comfortable. Definitely will be back.

United StatesParking is a bit tight especially if you have a full size truck or like sized vehicle. But we were told that they do offer off-site parking.
Everything! From the location to all the special touches which includes cookies available all day with teas, soft drinks Waters, coffee. They also provided aromatherapy towels in the common area along with self fill lavender sachet bags to put under your pillow at night. Breakfast every morning was a 10 out of 10. We were able to stay in the Tourmaline room which offered us windows to the front of the house and the front balcony. Door to the balcony was right outside of our bedroom door and we were able to enjoy it every evening. So nice to wind down. Bed was very comfortable and the small added touches were nice, like the bathrobes, makeup remover towels, toiletries, and the chocolates on our bed. Staff was incredible especially Ariana. She was just so sweet to talk to. The carriage in bed and breakfast has plenty of shopping and restaurants that are within a very short walking distance. You will not need to access your car while you're there. We were also able to enjoy the Salt Spa next door with a couple's massage and a 45 minute session in the salt cave which we greatly recommend. Cannot wait to come back to this charming bed and breakfast.

United StatesWe thought the price range for the small room we had was pretty high for the size of room, but we understand the timing and area may calm for that.
We liked the convenience to the downtown area. Very shirt walking distance to everything. We loved the old charm of the property and the staff was absolutely perfect.

United StatesParking was a challenge. Though there is parking at the property, it specifically states no big trucks allowed, and there were some of those, which took up available parking space. Also, they ran out of parking spots on our 2nd day. The staff did react quickly in that we were given a free parking pass for the main parking at Augustine, which is only a 7 minute walk, which is amazing kudos to them, otherwise, I would say that was the only down side.
Amazing, attentive staff. Beautiful rooms. Great location. Made you feel welcomed from the moment you arrived.

United StatesNeeds a toilet brush available in the toilet area would be a nice touch with bathroom spray. Love the old furniture and one should probably expect that the cabinet that holds extra pillows and covers would be a bit musty smelling. I have extremely sensitive skin, so I have to sleep with my own items under and over me to cover their sheets and pillow in bed. But that's just me, my husband had no issues.
Location was great, right in the middle of Old St. Augustine which made it easy to tour around town and not have to worry where to park. Carriage Way did offer on-site parking. Staff very kind and friendly. My husband loved being greeted with an offer of wine, soda, water. Also available was coffee and tea and maybe other items, I didn't get a chance to go look. Cream Sherry in the room besides small refrigerator offering sodas and water. Nice size bathroom with a jet tub, big walk-in shower, with shampoo, conditioner, body soap and body lotion, along with bathrobes. The Emerald room is on the bottom floor with only two steps to get in the room, which was perfect for my husband who walks with a cane. Breakfast was great! Kudos to the chef!

United StatesThis property deserves better upkeep. One shower drained poorly, many easy handyman type items need maintenance. Such as Our headboard can tears in the vinyl which can be repaired. Many wall and ceiling paint pealing. All easy to fix but require the effort. This property is just too fabulous to let these things go. Jacuzzi tub was wonderful but again the controls were damaged but functioning. It takes away from the experience
Great location. Wonderful property. Friendly staff, very friendly staff

United StatesThe room we stayed in was literally 2 feet from the front door and right off the living room where people gather to visit. In addition there is a table to sit at on the porch right outside the window for that room. Taking a nap was difficult. Instead of having the “office” in the middle of the living room, they should use the Ruby room instead.
Proximity to things to do. Walking distance to a lot! They offered wine, pop and water. Food was delicious. We liked that we had our own table for breakfast instead of everyone sitting at one table.

United StatesThere was definately a water issue in the bathroom complete with mold. There is a clawfoot tub that has a fabric shower enclosure that allows water to leak onto the floor because it doesn't fit behind the tub causing the water problem. I pointed it out and was told it was the final bathroom that will be done over. They were aware of it. However they should keep up on the mold.
The breakfast was excellent and beyond expectations as was the person who made and served it.
