Not updated so much, but not hiding anything either. Just what you need for an overnight stay & perfect fit for ourselves & 6 year old in Barnwell, SC.

Offered all that was needed for an overnight stay - nothing more & nothing less. Second stay there & will be back. Basic amenities for a great price, in a good location for visiting towns near Barnwell, SC. No frills, but no need. Kind staff.

I don't like feeling rushed when it's time for checkout. Some people can over sleep or have other things going on. At least give a 20 minute grace period if you know guests are checking out. It's rude to stand by the door and wait until someone comes out of the room if they have intentions on leaving once their things are together.

The convenience of everything being near me. The bed was comfortable and clean. It was quiet and easy to check in. The washcloths and towels could use an upgrade but they get the job done. The pillows are comfy most of the time. The comforters could be more comfy. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The heater could be upgraded but it got the job done.

I've stayed here more than a few times. I absolutely can't stand the idea of being bothered before check out time. This was my 4th time staying within a week & 2 out of the 4 times, I was awakened by housekeeping. The last time, it was 10:25am & I was exposed; housekeeping didn't knock, they just came in. The time before, it was 11:05am & I overslept, they kept rushing me out of the room. They make you feel rushed to leave as if you're trying to get over on them or something. I felt uncomfortable, however, it's a convenient location & I'll probably stay again only to hope I won't be exposed again.

I love the convenience of the location, it's right next to everything. It is quiet at night & the beds are so comfy. The showers work fairly well, but the refrigerators & microwaves could use an upgrade. Overall, the experience was fairly pleasant.

It doesn’t seem to be located in a great neighborhood overall. Was staying with my 10 year old and I don’t think I would have stayed here without the dog.

The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was phenomenal. We were in town hiking some of the state parks with our dog and this is one of the few properties that would take him because he is well over 100 pounds. We ended up actually having a nice stay. It was a quiet motel and we really didn’t have any issues. The staff was nice and check was easy. We would probably stay here again.

Our room was missing a do not disturb sign (not a huge deal) and the towels were scratchy and stained or ripped

Dirty, lamp shade was on the floor when we walked in, asked for 2 more towels and they told us we could only have 1 towel at a time.

Towels and wash cloths were in need of bleach and fabric softener or replacement. Chairs in outdoor gazebo were all broken.

Bed was comfy. Wi-Fi worked well. Non-smoking room smelled clean and fresh. Restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

When checking out prior to office opening did not feel the place to leave the key was a safe place-in the dish under the night check in window where anyone could pick it up. Did call office & staff came out to get the key

the cleaning services wouldn’t give us any extra towels we had 2 adults and a child and only got 2 towels and 2 wash clothes. We asked the cleaning lady for a extra towel and rag because there was 3 of us and she said I can only give you what you give me in dirty towels!

the beds were very comfortable, no bugs anywhere, close to eating places and convenient

At 9:23am, continental breakfast consisted of 7 granola bars and cold coffee. No staff in sight. Maybe we were too late. We've stayed before and ysed massage oil, a romantic getaway...the lady who checked us in requested that I remove the decorative coverlet bc stains are hard to cleañ. I was mortified! Did they make notes on my previous stay? They should be washed in hot water, problem solved! For $100 for 2 star hotel, I shouldn't be told to remove blankets...how offending.

Air conditioner worked great! Tissue box was full. Extra roll of toilet paper.

Bathtub and sink need to be replaced. Age showing on both. Could put more and cleaner wash cloths and towels. Very dingy and worn. Glad I brought my own. Missing a stopper in the sink. Need replace shower curtain (Very dirty).

Advertised free breakfast. It was one of the reasons for booking there. Wrong, no breakfast was provided/available. The front desk staff acted like they did not want to be bothered or have time to check us out or provide a receipt.

Didn't like it at all checked in that night first glance room was decent was very tired so pulled the sheet back to reveal sheets with blood fresh blood stains fitted sham looked to have had feces stains all over it.then pulled chair from table and it completely fell apart spilling soda all over my shoes.after letting them know about it they accused me of doing it and called the law had me kicked out in the rain 4th of july I only received a one day refund for a paid 2 days from booking.com .mad and furious to say the least about this experience

Room was dosgusting, ugly, holes in walls, so many code violations. Outlets smoking, smoke detector not on wall, plumbing in shower exposed.

Honestly, no perks. We ended up driving two hours to get another hotel. This was awful.
