Well appointed, nicely decorated and clean rooms. Great location, walking distance to all of Carmel. Free parking was a plus!

Street noise in evening. The room got too warm at night (no air conditioning). We had to keep windows open. It would have been fine except for the loud street noise.

The hotel was very charming! The wine and cheese were very nice. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful. We loved the rooms. Our bathroom tub fixture needed to be fixed and changed- otherwise everything was perfect!

Street noise during car week was ridiculous but that is a matter for the city council to address.

Maybe a bit more available for breakfast, particular cereals (fussy children) but overall no major concerns would happily stay again

All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Upon arrival there were snacks and drinks available and although the breakfast was modest it was more than enough for my family to feed on for the day. We had a family room with two massive queen beds and the room itself was large enough for my family of four to not feel like we were on top of ourselves. Plus the central location was perfect for being able to walk around the central shops and restaurants of Carmel

The catering service for breakfast and appetisers was not up to the standard we expected from a property with these room rates and the area designated for diners was too small, with people having to share tables.

Over the last year, I have traveled a lot. What was unique about Coachman's Inn was the devotion to detail. The breakfast was excellent. The in room coffee was the best I experienced. The room met all my basic needs and had nice little extras like comforting pillows. Not over-the-top extravagant, but excellent in what it provided. Also, conveniently located to downtown area.

the breakfast was yummy but space too small for so many guest trying to eat and food constantly running out due to small space and too long of lines. I barely got any of the yummy eggs, but eventually, more came out but the set up needs some improvements.

location was fantastic, private use of spa tub was nice as well. Also, loved the wine/ cheese hour.

Great location, very clean, super comfortable bed with gorgeous soft bed linen, fantastic service and enjoyed the complimentary afternoon cheese and wine. Breakfast selection, although small was very good.

Beautifully furnished rooms and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff and guests. We particularly enjoyed the little touches like the cooked item at breakfast and the complimentary wine and appetisers in the afternoon. The hotel is well located for walking, the restaurants and is just a short walk from the fabulous beach

Barely enough parking. Because it was full fairly early in the evening, I can't tell if there were additional guests who needed to park elsewhere. Parking in Carmel is often a challenge.

On a quiet block just one block off Ocean Blvd, the Main Street through Carmel and an easy walk to multiple restaurants and shops.

The property is beautiful. There is greenery everywhere and well kept and clean. The rooms have a fireplace and feel so cozy. The rooms have hard wood floors and barn style doors. The bathroom has nice shower heads and custom rock style tile.
