The bed was uncomfortable and the room was very small with no refrigerator and the shower head was way up about 8 feet high and no hand held. Tough for us short folks. I reported the bed and they were responsive to the report and said they will be investigating.

For the price, the room and bathroom were quite small, also a bit loud, and difficult to keep cool. We needed to keep both windows open, allowing in the street noise.

Friendly staff who quickly accommodated us when we wanted to switch from a satellite cottage (with paper thin walls and a bachelorette party next door) to a room in the main inn. Cannon Beach is not very big, so you can walk anywhere in 15 minutes.

Really nothing. Dirty towels from previous guest were left, but not a big deal. Staff was very apologetic, came over and cleaned them and offered us a bottle of wine!

It was not clear where the reception is and where should I park for the check in. The heating was not easy to operate, we did not figure out how the room is heated or cooled. Also the view from the room was non existent. You look into a tall shrub so the room is pretty dark.

Great rustic room. We stayed in a Lewis room at their Hearthstone lodge location. Value was great. Had a small kitchenette. Fireplace was nice for the evening. Shower pressure was great. Comfortable bed. The floor was not super clean but not visibly dirty, mostly just noticed when walking barefoot. One of the lamps in the bedroom had a broken turn switch so was unable to turn on. The additional bedding for the sofa had dog hair on it but perhaps was put away by previous tenants and not noticed by house keeping staff. Overall though, had a wo derful stay and would definitely stay again.

My daughter found a fingernail clipping on her bed. The toilet paper was hard to reach behind the toilet. Could have used some small hooks to hang towels or toiletry bag.

Excellent location close to Haystack Rock and great restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good amenities on site. Convenient on-site parking. The fireplace was a nice perk!

We don't eat breakfast per se. We had a great stay, walked to Sleepy Monk across the street and spent hours exploring Ecola State park(Amazing!), the beaches (Spectacular!) and every nook and cranny of Cannon Beach.

bed comfort was non-ideal in first room which led to a room change request; new room addressed bed comfort but had several maintenance issues (broken light switch, missing curtain control rod, one non-functional tv relative to cable services) that could easily be resolved with staff attention

staff were exceptional in addressing our needs (made room change to improve bed comfort); staff went beyond expectations in resolving our concerns and easing our transition to new room that had the added amenity of a gas fireplace; location was excellent for access to beach and downtown via short walks

The location was perfect. Just a short walk to the center of Cannon Beach. We stayed in one of the apartments and had everything we needed. 2 min walk to the beach .

This listing is misleading, you think you will be staying at the Cannon Beach Hotel Collection, but they own 5 different places in town and you may end up staying in any of these. I ended up staying at the McBee which was ok but was not the same experience at all, it’s a motel layout, not a cosy hotel. The person at the reception kept on saying “sorry for the confusion about this”, but I was not confused at all, I was mislead. The owner should list each location separately.

The shower was pretty inconvenient, because the tray/shelf for soap, shampoo, etc was loose and crooked and everything slid out of it.

Great location. My second stay at one of your locations. I previously stayed at the Courtyard and liked it a bit more. Larger, more convenient bathroom, coffeemaker and mini fridge in the room.

We stayed in the Hearthstone Inn Clatsop Queen, and were delighted with how cosy and well-equipped it was. The staff were great, location was top, and we had a problem-free stay.

The cottages could do with a refresh and are looking tired in places. Just a lick of paint on the main door to the cottage would create a better first impression. The windows were difficult to open and close. There's a gap between the blind on the door glass so we had to hang a shirt over for privacy.

We loved the main building and welcoming friendly reception staff. Complementary hot drinks and lemon water was a nice touch. Shout out to Maiya! We slept really well and it was very quiet. Bed was very comfortable.
