    The tv, in my room didn’t work, the water came out brown in the shower, and getting towels was a hassle. It wasn’t great, but I’ve stayed in worse.

    The location was convenient for what I needed.

    There were cockroaches.

    Since it's pet friendly, the room smelled like dog, had to switch rooms, same issue, had to buy Lysol to spray down the room. the recliner was broken. the TV had few channels, no cable, no antenna, think we had 3 channels. no place to hang towels in bathroom.

    Location was great. room was ready when we arrived.

    The window did not lock in my room. Did not like the location. Very sketchy people walking around the area. And a few homeless people in the area. I think it was overpriced for the area it was in. It wasn't in a safe good area

    Our room we reserved we couldn’t get in so they moved us to another room the next to us has been there for 4mo they where up banging on walls sounded like they were moving the room around we were there for hospital visits longs days at hospital and no sleep at night plus there was a odor it just stunk

    First rooms were too dark, ac challenges and a wet musty smell with damp carpet in one. Room we were switched to had a used napkin and pizza slice crust behind the recliner chair.

    Close proximity to places we needed to be at. Prices were very reasonable for rooms. Front desk staff were courteous, friendly, flexible and accommodating.

    The fire alarm kept going off. One time was at almost 2a. Also the snacks they had in the lobby were expired, didn’t realize till after we paid and started to eat them.

    Pantry was empty. Coke and snack machine was empty. Called before booking was told pool and spa were open but sign says closed since March 2020

    The yard is messy parking lot is dirty

    Icemaker broke again. Maintenance said it was fixed and NEVER made a piece of ice. No coffee pot, no toaster. I let them know at check out and answer was I’m sorry. Last stay, icemaker didn’t work, they changed out and had 6pieces ice next morning. A/C didn’t work and they changed out.

    The hotel was filthy and smelled horrible. The front desk had no clue what they were doing. I was working on Houston Rodeo and came in late. The computer system was down for over 45 minutes, and he could not get me in a room. Several people came down that their keys to their room did not work. It was a terrible experience. Not to mention, I paid for my room on Booking.com and they charged me over $150 in fees that I have no idea what they are!

    Management was horrible, my vehicle got broken into and wasn’t allowed to “watch” or look at cameras, room was never cleaned, stains in the tub and sink

    I have stayed at Candlewood Suites twice before—once in Virginia and once in Dallas—and both experiences were amazing. However, this particular stay has been extremely disappointing. The room was infested with cockroaches, and the fixtures, including the ironing board, were in terrible shape. The elevator was agonizingly slow, taking forever to move between floors. The gym was another letdown, with broken equipment, and to top it off, there was only one dumbbell of each size—something I’ve never seen in any gym before. One morning, I went for coffee only to find they had run out of cups. The next day, I brought my own cup, but the coffee machine was out of order. It felt like no one was paying attention to the property’s upkeep. My previous stay in Dallas (Las Colinas) was hassle-free, lasting four straight weeks. I had planned to extend my current stay by another two weeks, but given the poor conditions, I had no choice but to reconsider. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to formally complain, but it’s evident that the property owners aren’t prioritizing these issues.
