How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Sitting Chair in Room was a bit Narrow/Small & Not as Comfy for Relaxing. But, it worked. Great Stay!!
Friendly Staff. Great Breakfast with Many Hot & Cold selections. Clean Facility. Comfy Beds. Nice Pool & Hot Tub & Workout Room. Restrooms in Lobby & by the Pool +Shower at Pool. Fast WiFi. Great Stay!!

The breakfast was not good. Eggs were chewy, the meat was not good. Not much to choose from for breakfeasts .The breakfeast area was super hot and stuffy. You couldn't stay down there long.
Room was nice, staff were friendly.

I think it was unnecessary for the front desk to walk each person back to unlock the pool instead of guests using the card. She said she lost track of who was even in the pool.

The leather ottoman is falling apart in the king suite, terrible pillows, the carpet is dated, pool had some mildew- mold looking areas and the bathroom off the pool was not usable.
Free breakfast, lots of space in the rooms, affordable, friendly and accommodating staff, work out room was updated- even had a peloton!

For $300 a night we didn’t even get glasses, and for the record plastic doesn’t count.
The room was clean and fine but for the price it was nothing special.

We did not like it , the rooms on different floors but we understand the only detail was to see the dirty chairs of the loby and too much dust between the beds and the bedside table , they are details but they can improve it also had cobwebs
the breakfast , it was the best , enough food and they tried to keep it clean , the staff was always friendly .. The hotel location is also excellent .

I took granddaughter (she is 5 years old) to the pool, however, it is in a secluded area of the hotel. At first I did not mind until a man came in stared at my granddaughter and I, we were the only 2 in the area. Went to our chair and was looking at my phone, then he slowly left still stareing at us. I got the two of us out of there again. If something had happen no one would have known. This was a let down as I had promised to go more and did not feel safe enough to go. The other issue is that there were some people staying that were smoking so much marjuania that the hallways smelt of it.
We were there for a family members funeral and needed to check in early, they did allow us to check in early. It was close to everything and still was a quiet place to stay. While we wanted adjoining rooms that could not be accommadated we were only 2 doors away from each other. Staff was always friendly and helpful.

The pool area was decent had no issues, could use a good touch up . But otherwise was good.

Bathroom door didn't have stopper so it slammed against wall. It woke my husband up in middle of the night. Breakfast buffer didn't have bacon on the weekend.
Friendly staff and good location. Starbucks and Horrocks very close

Suites/studios are large rooms with a desk / divider separating the sleeping area from the sofa. There is also a sizable kitchenette and bathroom facilities. Lansing West is next to Horrocks, a very large, unusual, food and grocery facility with a nice beer garden, etc. It is worth a visit.

People were smoking weed at the entrance and the whole lobby smelled like it. My son has asthma and allergies and so do I, so that part wasn’t enjoyable. Luckily that was the only place we noticed it.

Not the cleanest of places, but it wasn’t super dirty!
It was a great price and a convenient location. Loved that they were pet friendly! The staff was incredibly kind. They also had ice cold water available in the lobby!
