How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Theres no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, the only storage for your clothes is in the closet to hang.
The updated rooms were very nice. The location was easy to get in and out of. Plenty of parking around the whole building. Staff was friendly.

Would have been nice if we had been informed of the renovations taking place before we arrived.We weren't even sure if the place was open! We thought we had been scammed! Your desk clerk was very sweet and very helpful. She apologized profusely. We booked 2 rooms and both were very clean and comfortable. The handicap accessible bathroom was perfect for our family member who uses a walker. Thank you so much for providing a bath chair for shower in the accessible bathroom! This is our go to hotel when we travel for family events in Southern Maryland. The location of the hotel is close to our family. Hope the new changes meet the same things we enjoy about this location!

The swimming pool and the spa are closed for several months. So a little to expensive without these services.
The welcome, the availability, the breakfast. It’s the 4th time I stay in this hotel. There is a lot works actually to refresh all the rooms.

The pool was not available, on booking there were dates saying the pool was out of service but the weeknd we went wasn't listed. There is a $50 refundable fee that's added. Just really, the communication wasn't that about the pool and the fee. But I still recommend.
The breakfast was very good, the staff was amazing, the room was clean and spacious. Very quiet place. Definitely recommend

I didnt like that they started packing up breakfast at 8:30 when breakfast ends at 9:30 but I get it nonetheless because of the boss but it sucked lowkey. Breakfast was also very simple wasn't awesome but wasn't bad. I also didn't like that the spa was closed
I liked how comfy the bed was and it was close to everything I needed to get to. I didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice and they clean it really well

Noise from adjoining room. Really annoying.

$50 unadvertised "incidental" b.s. charge. Unadvertised! I would not have booked it if I saw that. And if I wasn't so tierd from driving for hours I would have fought it. Girl at desk was like robot, memorized , regurgitated info. She new I was not cool with that extra charge and blew me off and kept spewing her spiel

The mattress felt springy, I scrapped my leg on the side of the bed. But overall everything else was fine.
The breakfast was great !!!! Lots of options and it was actually decided food. The Location was great. Right beside Target. I didn't get a chance to see the hott tub or walk in the pool room but it looked a little cloudy for my liking but plenty of ppl were in there enjoying themselves. I personally wasn't a fan of the mattress I just felt kinda springy I guess HONESTLY it wasn't bad at all. I haven't stayed at any of the other near hotels to compare but I didn't have any major complaints. The staff was great and the pillows were Great!

Need different options for breakfast. The coffee is not available like it used to be. It's only certain hours. Large tractor trailers should be given different parking instead of taking up 8 spaces in front of the door

Breakfast was horrible. The sausage taste like I was just eating salt. The waffles had a terrible taste to them. I had to throw it in the trash and go out for breakfast.
Hospitality was excellent. Rooms were old but clean. Loved the pool. Lobby had great ambiance. Staff was very attentive and polite.
