Love everything about calamigos. We come every summer at least once. Beautiful property. So much to do. Great for families or couples. Smells delightful. Great music. Great bar and cocktails. Great wine and food. So relaxing and rejuvenating.

Falling Oaks Cottage room mini split air conditioner could take a while to get to the set temperature. Bathroom showerhead needs maintenance (hard water build up causing water to spray inconsistently). Water station in gym was out of order.

The ranch grounds are beautiful and amenities like the heated pools and hot tubs were great. Dinner and room service options were delicious. Free room snacks and beverages were delightful. Room service staff had a birthday candle on request to help us celebrate.

Everything is perfect!

The vastness of the acres of oak trees, beautiful pathways leading to multiple adventures and swimming pools. There’s the beach club that is extra special part. Food is terrific and vibes are very mellow and laid back.

The rest of the property looked a little run-down and in need of renovation. The exception to this was the lounge area near the pool. That was a highlight and very nice.

I LOVED my room...it was like a little casita on property, very cozy. Clean and fresh looking tiles/marble counters, sage hanging from the shower, etc.

Calamigos Ranch Is a hidden gem located in the mountains of Malibu. The perfect place to enjoy a quick staycation getaway or do some local wine tasting. The restaurants and bars in the property are all wonderful

The beach club was not the expected, directions are wrong, the restaurant at the beach club does not even have ocean view. Food was not that good, we tried at the restaurant and room service and both were just average.

The room and all the common aereas are very nice. Very comfortable. The shower products are awesome. Highly recommended if you travel with a dog.

They changed the set up of some rooms, we don’t appreciate the changes and had to upgrade. Still the equipment was not satisfying. We appreciated the help of the staff very much. Overall a great location the relax close to Malibu Beach.

The service at the pool and at the beach needs improvement for sure. The service was good but for the prices I would expect it to be absolutely excellent. The service at the ranch club where we had breakfast and dinner was excellent as was the front desk and valet staff. This was only a comment about specifically the pool and the beach.

The location and the grounds are absolutely beautiful. Nothing but waterfalls and nature.

We only had one disappointing experience when we wanted to check out the beach club. We spoke to reception, valet and then the valet at the beach club all of whom encouraged us to head down, until we met the host at the club who told us the beach was closed. Not sure what happened - whether it was a simple miscommunication and the staff we spoke to didn’t know but it wasted a couple of hours of our time and could have been avoided.

Exceptional service with every detail considered. The cashless and tip less approach is terrific, and somehow results in even friendlier and more attentive service. The details in the room from the wine, to the spa product samples, and the personalised candle elevate the experience. The rooms are stunning and luxurious. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has no shortage of activities and areas to explore. All good from the breakfast to poolside to dinner is fresh, hearty, and delicious. This is one of my favourite hotels and I’m already planning my next visit. A new go-to for a wholesome escape.

Can’t think of anything. Maybe just bring back the old pool menu. The Greek salad with grilled shrimp was to die for and is no longer available.

The hospitality and the grounds are gorgeous. Every detail to ensure guests are cared for is felt and appreciated. The staff is incredibly gracious and ensures your stay is exceptional every time. We visit annually and hate to leave. Thank you for such a terrific experience.
