How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There was a small gap in the door allowing air to come into the room.
The staff was excellent and friendly. The room even though out dated was very clean. And the hotel was nice and quiet.

Getting to the location. The sign should be more visible.

Had everything I needed.
Staff was amazing, especially Michelle at check in and the gal with purple hair in the morning. Breakfast was exemplary and the room was perfect with a better than average shower. Getting to the motel was interesting and when leaving you are restricted to traveling east along HWY 34. If you wish to head west you are required to go east and then make a u-turn. Other than that it was amazing.

Our coffee pot didn’t brew. It just spit out Luke warm water. My husband when to get us coffee up front, and it was also like warm. Getting in and out was problematic due to street set up. Forced U turns and driving a mile east to go back west was not ideal at all.
I loved the grassy court yard and dog run in the back

Everything was great, the only way it could have been better was if it was less expensive, but then you lose perks and attractions.
It was fantastic to have a hot breakfast since we don't eat most of the "continental" breakfast options of sweets. Eggs, bacon, sausage, etc... that's breakfast. The hotel and grounds were well kept and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. All around a great stay.

sharp jagged broken piece of swimming pool cut my family member's hand very badly - should've gotten stitches. While the staff was responsive to finding the broken area, they did not offer to write up a report about his injury. We are pretty sure it was a clean cut thankfully. Iron took a lot of time to warm up to be able to use. No spa was kind of a bummer
clean and quiet room, great breakfast, delightful areas to sit outside and relax, good fitness room. LOVED the Capaccino maker at breakfast!

Shower in the bathroom. The shower head too high and could not be adjusted. Water shot over the curtain on to the floor every time we used the shower.
Breakfast was good. However it was the same hot food every day we were there.

The couple we traveled with had a entirely different experience. Our room was nice and spacious and theirs was small with a bathroom that two people couldn't fit in and the shower head was like plugged and the drain also.
Breakfast was good, location was right off the interstate but traffic made it hard to get to.

Room on second floor
Easy access to the Highway; Good shower, good bathroom size and room; Breakfast; For those looking to visit Estes Park, Garden of the Gods and surrounding areas, I recommend it, due to the location;

The room's window was facing into the hallway, also the air conditionning unit was a bit old and not working properly. There was an unpleasant smell in the room.
We enjoyed the time there. Staff were responsive and polite, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good.

Plant milk and fruit selections would help vegetarians/vegans eat a full breakfast.
Breakfast had good selection for carnivores and a couple of items for vegetarians. Coffee machine was impressive, but uses cow milk.

Restaurant and lounge closed Sunday and Mondays so had to leave property to eat. Difficult entry on to property.
Got a nice room and even saved on quoted rate because we were there for surgery across the road today. Complimentary breakfast was very good.
