How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The only thing I didn’t like was the person staying in the room next to me was very obvious that they were using drugs in the room and that made me uncomfortable, but I don’t blame the motel
I liked the size of the room. It was very large. I liked the staff at the hotel. They were very nice and very welcoming and the online check-in was great because it saved time for when I got there to check in.

$30 fee for small dog. Would have been nice to list it so I knew the price when booking. We were downstairs and we could hear the person above us walking around all night.
Easy access off main highway. Nice trail and river right behind hotel. Fast food and gas stations right next to hotel. Good WiFi. Very comfortable king bed. Parking right outside of room.

parking lot under maintenance and the hotel door had to be slammed to actually lock
The man that checked me in was super nice and reassuring. Parking lot was getting paved so couldn’t park there but he made sure I got a safe good parking.

This place just needs some upkeep. If I were a big coffee person, I would probably be upset at no coffee maker.
We got in really late at night and the woman who helped us was still kind and friendly. Zero payment or deposit issues. The beds were far comfier than I expected at this price point and the shower pressure was excellent.

We booked a king and he tried to check us into a queen without actually telling us until we asked a question. We told him that was unacceptable, and that we weren't going to stay. He informed us he didn't charge us but after reviewing cc statement we had a charge that we disputed. He also said we should contact booking.com, which we did for a cancelation. He never responded to the booking.com request. Shady place in our opinion and we book a lot of properties from booking.com.

Repaving the parking lot right outside my door at 7am. I’ve had better rooms for less money. Where I had to park my car left me wondering if it would still be there in the morning.

Could use interior upgrade, but that would mean a higher rate. I prefer a lower rate and a clean room. I would stay there again.

The room was very clean and smelled nice! It is right along a pretty canal that runs through the city and close to stores and food as well. Kunal and his mother and father are the most hospitable, respectful owners. They are happy to accommodate within reason and have made our stay most pleasant!!!

The hotel is located right on a busy road. There was a group of men who were staying there while doing some construction work who were hanging out in the parking lot socializing and drinking. The furnishings are very bare bones.
The family that owns the hotel and runs the office were very friendly and hospitable. They offered to let us put our freezer packs for the cooler in their freezer as there was not a freezer compartment in our room's refrigerator. I overheard them also offer to do another guest's laundry for them. This is truly a budget hotel and is fine for a one night stopover when traveling. Nothing fancy about it, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Haven't found anything we didn't like.
The Manager, All the Staff, very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are a nice size and clean. We've stayed here a few times now. Our cat gets to even stay here while most hotels only allow dogs.

The smoke alarm was missing, no carpeting on floors so what ever I stepped on went to bed with me. The add said soundproof but I heard everything the other guests was watching on tv and heavy footsteps above me.
