There could be better and more available information on services, events, close by events/attractions, including resort history. There are lots of building but guests don’t know what they are for and if they are private or public.

Our room had wonderful comfortable beds but the room(especially carpet) was a little tired.

Property is extensive and lovely with beautiful landscaping and many amenities.

Every little thing. The staff is went above and beyond, so friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Mill House. We loved the grounds and enjoyed hiking the trails. The spa pool was a great way to relax. The location was great and easy to get to shopping and local attractions.

I wish the bar was open later. The bartender (Phillip) was awesome! And the crowd at the bar were very cordial.

The decor and all the amenities. This is where my wife and I were married at the Boar’s Head Inn (then). We loved it then (2009) and still love it 15 years later.

The service in the restaurant was mixed. Server went to a table that were seated after me to take their order and when she came to me she was chewing gum, but was very friendly. Gave my order and my main came before my starter. Server apologized and offered to remove the cost of the starter. I did order a desert which she also didn't charge me for so some aspects weren't great but she did make up for it.

A beautiful hotel with a mix of history and modern comfort. Lots of excellent facilities. I used the spa and adult pool (main reason for staying). Good location not too far from Charlottesville.

Quite expensive for what you get. Facilities are a bit dated. Breakfast should have been included in the price.

The Boar’s Head Resort offer many on site recreational activities. They included golf course, spa, two pool locations, hiking trails and many places just to sit and relax and enjoy the scenery. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was quite plain, nothing special except the coffee machine. The heating system was noisy and the lack of art work or prints, paintings of the walls was disappointing for such a well know establishment resort! There was no body lotion!

The Mill Room for dinner and breakfast was excellent, environment, service and food!

Room not ready at 4:00 checkin but manger comped with free breakfast in morning which made up for wait on checkin.

Our reservation was last minute due to an unexpected change in our plans so we arrived around 8 pm. Check in took at least 10 minutes. It seems that this may have been due to booking through booking.com? We were told we were given a room upgrade. The room was on the ground/basement level and the carpeting leading to that level was not the cleanest. There was still foam wrapping around the bottom of one of the chairs in our room, so the room felt a bit unfinished. We couldn't enjoy the outdoor patio for a glass of wine easily due to multiple large spiders and webs. We arrived late so we went to have dessert and drinks at the restaurant. The ice-cream served with our dessert in the dining room was crystalized/icy which was not enjoyable. Despite the breakfast room having multiple tables available, we were guided to the same booth in the bar/lodge side of the restaurant. We then asked to go into the breakfast room with the beautiful views instead, which in the end was no issue. This was our anniversary so we were expecting a 5 star experience given the reputation of the Inn.

It rained 4 of the 6 days of our stay!

Beautiful resort, just what we were looking for. The place provides great accommodations, an adults-only pool (One for families is also on-site.), great spa (Make reservations!), and a great Davis Love III golf course along with an amazing putting green just out the back door of the golf shop! What else do you need!?!?!
