The front porch would have been lovely, but it was incredibly hot due to the sun — and it didn’t even reach 80 degrees while we were there. It didn’t feel usable during the summer months.

The area was quiet and felt secluded, despite being off a major road. We didn’t need the kitchen and outside area due to the nature of our visit, but they were nice and spacious. The unit even included a set of utensils for the grill.

Everything was good. People should be aware that it will be tight for more than three people.

We loved staying at the Blue House. The house has everything you need to cook at home if you want, including a grill. It is super safe and quiet, with efficient a/c. Everything was spotless, and our hosts were very responsive, and right nearby. Nice decor, but not fancy or oppressive. There is a big Fred Meyer right up the road, and it was a great base for us as we attended the Oregon Bach Festival. We didn’t need it at this level, but the house is very well equipped for people with mobility issues - we appreciate it!

No chairs on side/back-porch to sit on.

Loved the screened in front porch. The beds were very comfortable. We overall loved this place and being close to my grandson‘s high school and many other things was also a plus.

Old people like us need large side tables for their beds. I moved a light desk for my bed and my husband moved something else for his; but two bedside tables would be helpful.

The location was perfect for us. The front porch (surrounded by tulips and with a big lilac bush in bloom) was a great place to sit. It was very quiet at night. (The owners have big dogs but each dog barked politely, once, whenever we arrived. I would say, "Hi dogs." and then they didn't bark again. The owners were helpful but not intrusive.

Great house in a secluded area, a 5 minute walk to the river. Very well appointed and comfortable. Great kitchen and living space with 2 great bathrooms. Lovely outside and sunroom area. Washer dryer was also a plus. Toby is a great host.

Our friends used the bath off the living room and said the water temp. for the tub was a little hard to adjust; but they were getting the hang of it by the time we left. Also, it was a bit awkward to walk through one bedroom to access the other in the early morning, but we figured out we could go out the slider in our room and walk around the house to the sunroom and enter the house that way to avoid disturbing those who wanted to sleep in. :)

The location was great because although it was near a busy street, the home was set back from the road and on a fenced/gated property and shielded by trees/shrubs. The traffic was audible outside but not disruptive and was not noticeable at all when inside the home. Beds were large (king) and comfy and heating/cooling system was excellent. Kitchen had everything we needed and the whole house was very clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed sitting in the sunroom and having coffee in the morning.

There were no coffee filters for the coffee maker. And it would have been nice to know if the coffee maker was a regular grounds drip maker or a keurig pod coffee maker. Luckily I brought both grounds and pods just in case.....but figured there would be filters if it was a drip maker.

The beds were comfortable, the home was clean for the most part. It was difficult to get the mini split heaters to regulate the temperature at a comfortable spot. We had a difficult time getting the master bedroom mini split to work. When we got back to the home from our concert, the home was way too hot and the mini splits were only set at 72 degrees.
