Fix the sewer smell in the cabin

The two things that was wrong with it for us was the hot tub didn’t work and it leaked water all the way to the bottom balcony and having the cookout was not a success due to the water leaking and it would freeze on the balcony making it dangerous. The second thing was the worst. The whole cabin smelt like straight up sewer was very hard to be there so we called and they sent someone that only flushed hot water. And told us that the problem was fixed but no it was not the smell was still strong so we just left. That’s not healthy and I had my 2 babies and the rest of my kids. And I was not going to be staying there with that smell.

    Beautiful view and comfortable.

The cabin has great potential, should the aforementioned things be handled.

Upon arrival, we noticed a foul smell coming from the dishwasher and the door to the main level patio floor was broken. I wasn't concerned about the dishwasher, as I hoped it would be fixed by running it. However, the main level patio floor had four nice chairs and the grill that we could not access. I submitted a ticket through Vacasa on a Sunday about the door knob and it was fixed late morning on Tuesday. The drier didn't work well, taking 3-4 cycles to get our laundry dry (yes, we checked the lint, and no, it wasn't overly full). For a cabin that should accommodate a good number of people, there was only one large pot to cook in. We enjoy cooking on vacation, but this made it difficult. Lastly, halfway through our stay, the bottom level of the cabin began smelling like sewage. We had some rough weather come through, so we hoped it would go away with time. We left the cabin around noon and returned 5 hours later (approximately 5:30pm) to the entire cabin reeking of sewage. I submitted a maintenance request, stating it was a health/safety concern, and was told that someone MIGHT be able to get to the cabin the same night. By 10PM, maintenance had not arrived and we had a child that we needed to make sleeping arrangements for. We had to cut our trip short due to the awful smell. After going back and forth with Vacasa, they only refunded me one night, when we had to leave two nights early AND pay for a hotel to sleep elsewhere.

The cabin's location was great! It was close to Pigeon Forge and had amazing views. The neighborhood was also quiet and relaxing. Beds were comfortable and there were more than enough linens provided!

We were very disappointed with this cabin. First, the hot tub being broke and has clearly been broke for a while was a huge disappointment. Furthermore, the smell of sewage engulfs the entire house when anyone showers or uses any of the three restrooms. A gesture of $120 for the broken hot tub is really a joke after we paid $1800 to stay for 3 nights specifically looking forward to the hot tub. The sewage smell made playing pool and watching movies in the theatre (broken chair) pretty much unbearable.

The toilets were tricky to flush, but it was ok. The sun beams through, so it's hard to keep it cool in there.

The cabin was in a great location. It was very spacious. The view was amazing. Their was plenty of stuff to do. The beds were very comfortable.

However, we were very uncomfortable during our stay due to the presence of roaches throughout the home. This made it difficult to relax and sleep properly. The wooden part of the hot-tub was broken we was afraid to used it even though it was running.

The home was very beautiful and the view was lovely, which we really appreciated.
