we were really tired and was a large group. Clean room, the staff in reception was really friendly during night shift, the staff gave us lot of energy and so friendly. During morning shift, there were some people in reception who were super nice as well. The cleaning staff had some issues with English, however they were so nice as well.

United StatesThen we faced the elevator situation - took 10 minutes to get on. Then the ice machine on our floor was not working and there was a sign for a vending machine but there was no vending machine to be found. The hallway is nice but the little patch work of painting that needs to be done is not the same color and make it look bad. Also - my glass cups in our room was dirty. The walls behind the bathroom door needed to be wiped down. Inside of the toilet was dirty - had brown mark all the way in the back. The sign behind the entry door needs to be wiped down also. It make me feel like the place wasn’t wiped down properly or at all except for the beds.
We love Hilton but was a bit disappointed by this Doubletree by little things that make a difference that can be fixed. 1st off - Aaron at the front desk was awesome!!!! Very warm, welcoming and hospitable. The 1st floor look was very nice. The beds were nice and comfy. We called for blankets and they came right away - and the last that brought them up was.

United StatesWe ordered breakfast from the menu. It was the worst breakfast we have ever had. The French toast had no flavor and was served cold with syrup that wasn't Maple syrup. Bland. After ordering, I walked around to check out the buffet offerings and it looked delicious! I should have gotten the buffet breakfast. I asked for a side of pears since it was on the menu and was served two cold, whole pears. One elevator was out of service as well, so it took a while to get to our floor. Check to see if there are conventions staying at the hotel as well. There were at least two and the dining room was very loud will yelling to each other across the room.
Location. It was close to a fantastic Italian restaurant. Front desk was very friendly and check in was easy.

United StatesThere was construction going on and it was somewhat confusing finding our way around the facility especially from the parking garage into the hotel. The checkout person was rather unfriendly in her mannerisms. She somehow was unable to give me any kind of receipt since my reservation was made through booking.com. and was very stoic in her responses to my questions. I felt she was simply rude. Made me wonder if another staff member had been present at the time perhaps she'd be careful to be a bit more hospitable to a guest.
Very convenient location. Free garage parking. Arrival staff was pleasant. Light pub style restaurant was good and convenient.

CanadaUpon checking in, we were greeted by a front desk staff member who had a notably negative attitude. Her tone was dismissive, and she appeared irritated by my questions, responding in a rude manner. This was the most surprising experience I’ve had at any hotel, especially after traveling from Canada. It’s crucial for front desk staff to remember they are the first impression for guests, and her demeanor left a lasting negative impression. I was genuinely taken aback by the entire interaction.
