Beautiful spot for a weekend get away from Chicago. Very well managed property with owners who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Cabins were right off the river with beautiful views. We rented a two person kayak from there as well. You can start right from the property, go down the Betise River for (90 mins or 3 hours) and they also provide options for transportation services back up the river. Overall, very happy to have found this place and definitely would stay again.

The only dislike I have is you could hear traffic at night but that's to be expected with the main road so close. Not a deal breaker at all though!

Cute, quaint, cozy little cabin. I was impressed how clean everything was there, inside the cabin and around the property as well. We had everything we needed as well. The location was perfect for our stay and we found lots to do in the area after visiting the sleeping bear dunes. I would definitely go back for another visit.

The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and easy for us to prepare our own meals. We liked that the decor was not fussy, just simple and very pleasant. The location along the Betsie River was very peaceful and scenic.

Do not sell campfire wood. They do provide a bundle every day.

Exceptional place. Right on Betsie River. Saw deer and rabbits across it. Fly fishermen in the river. Little fire pit just outside door. Wood provided. Staff very nice. We stayed 2 nights as a staging place for 2 charters. I wish we'd had more time to use the facilities. Up at 330am both mornings. Whirlpool and indoor pool. Very nice place.

Very well kept and the owners were very friendly and prompt on addressing any concerns or needs. All needed kitchen supplies and appliances made it very convenient. Great location to area attractions

It was very damp and it smelled of something we couldn't identify. I wasn't too surprised as it is just a cabin and we would book again, but it did dampen our enjoyment a little.

The family who owns and runs the resort are very friendly and welcoming and you can feel that it is family run throughout. We loved the pool and spa, which were fantastic! The little cabin we stayed in was comfortable.

They are so kind and accommodating and polite! I loved this place! My kids thought it was small but for our needs it was great! We’re short though, so if you’re tall good luck showering comfortably lol. But it was great and the pool is nice too!

The wholesome vibes here are excellent! You can pick up cards, movies, board games, and other goodies from the main office while it is open. You can fish and kayak in the small, cute river. The cabin is very quaint and cozy, but offers lots of modern amenities. Check-in is easy and everything was very clean and put-together. A great place to stay!

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The resort was very easy to get to. The cabin was well appointed and updated. The beds were actually comfortable! My teenaged boys loved the indoor pool and hot tub. One of the community firepits was conveniently just outside our cabin and was stocked each night with plenty of firewood. Although we didn't end up making use of them, the office has quite a selection of games (board games, cards, etc) that can be checked out during the stay. Check-in was a breeze and the owners are so nice. We absolutely would return!

Friendliest of staff. They were always available to answer questions and help in any way. There were notes in the room giving information on everything about your room, the facilities, and checkout instructions. Everything at this resort was very neat and clean.
