Bed is uncomfortable. Air conditioner working but could not keep up. Part of the mold8ng around the floor is coming off. Also, the shower floor cracked.

The shower was great. I'm glad it had a refrigerator. Looks like they are remodeling the hotel.

Construction. No signage to let you know this was the West Valley Inn. I understand they are changing to be a La Quinta, but a little sign in the meantime would be nice; something that a print & copy store could do. The stopper in the bathtub in Room 115 did not work. Had to use a washcloth to keep the tub from draining to have a bath. The fitness center was closed to make room for something for the La Quinta change over. Breakfast was very limited; all I could have was applesauce & coffee. No fresh fruit or yogurt. The waffles looked and smelled amazing, but not on my diet.

Location. Clean. Affordable. The front desk clerk was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and in-room coffee supplies.

Pool was closed. We chose a place with a pool purposely for the kiddos to have a chance to swim after camping for 10 days.

I stayed here before management changed and swore I never would again. I booked this place by accident because of the name change. While there was a slight improvement I will not be staying again. The staff are not super friendly or welcoming and there are always 2 or 3 of them just lounging around in the lobby (lying down on the couches). The linens were clean but the walls were not. The carpets definitely need to be cleaned as well. Breakfast is served until 9 but if u don't get there way before that you will not eat. Went down at 8:45 and there was nothing but apple sauce left. We have never had that happen at a hotel before. It's more like first come first served and not breakfast served until 9. Our first night seemed quiet but the next morning we listened to a dog bark nonstop for at least 2 hours.

The bedding was comfortable and clean. The location is near lots of food and close to the freeway. If the staff were a bit friendlier and there would have been breakfast until 9am like they stated, the value for the cost would be good.

The place is in the middle of renovations, but all was very good. The gentleman at the front desk was truly a treat. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I will stay here in the future!

the room wasn’t super clean, there were splatter marks all over the walls and didn’t look like they vacuumed. tv did not work, blow dryer was broken.

it was right next to the maverick center for the concert we saw. close to food and downtown salt lake, yummy coffee & nice workers. a gentleman tried to help us with our tv even though their internet was very down, very kind.
