Staff was friendly, they had just remodeled so stuff was a little dusty still. As far as general cleanliness it could have been loads better as there was a lot of hair left in the bathtub, dead bugs (sand flies, gnats) in the wind seal, dirt caked in the corners. Biggest complaints would be there was ZERO heat other than from a space heater the facility provided (fire hazard), fairly large crack under the door frame drafted pretty bad we had to use a towel to block it. No carpet, laminate flooring on a concrete floor so the floor itself was also freezing. Stated they provide breakfast, not sure if Cheerios, a couple tiny muffins and a few slices of bread provided constitutes as a continental breakfast so I give that a 2/10 Granted we were there basically to sleep, not much down time was spent in the room. Would I choose to stay again, if desperate times called for desperate measures yes, other wise no probably not. I’m sure once they are done with renovations things will be better but honestly I’m not entirely sure. But the room did was it needed and gave us a place to lay our heads on a decently comfortable bed (although thicker blankets would have been nice as it was freezing in there) and take a warm shower.

* We weren't aware that it was a drive-in motel. It doesn't specify that detail anywhere in any of the advertisements, websites, booking specifications, etc. And if it's not upfront clear and obvious we don't assume anything. * My daughter and I, we were moving out of the state, and we were exhausted. And when we thought that we were going to walk few feet, and/or to get in the elevator and call it the night, we realized that we still have to go outside the lobby, back to where we came from, hit the street again walking, because we only use Uber or Lyft (at 03:00 in the morning) walked out of the main entrance/parking lot, head uphill to go to where our room was, smh. . * Then the heater wasn't working properly: a) made a lot of noise when it turned on.- b) it wasn't heat coming out of the vents, it was cold air, not a/c but cold air. The equipment wasn't lowered that we could easily check it out to adjust it, but it was up next to the ceiling, and we were way to tired to be playing with anything at that time, we just cover ourselves all the way up to our heads, and let it be. Anyway, we were leaving first thing in the morning, so no worth the trouble. We didn't have a good rest as we thought we would and as we were looking forward to it :'( C'est La Vie. . :(

That we have a place where to crash before leaving town. - Front desk guy was absolutely amazing, he saw our needs, that we were exhausted and pull up his golf cart and took our luggage to our room. If I'm not mistaken his name is Mani. He was really exceptional!! Thank you Mani for your kindness and attention, it meant the world to us!! :)

The first room were got was discussing the room smelled of mold, the fridge did not work, the lamp and outlets did not work, the walls were peeling had a whole in the wall, and you could see daylight through the door. Went and talked to the guy at the front desk and he put us in a different room it was more acceptable but don't believe we will stay there again

The staff were very friendly and breakfast was ok for a quick fix

After I was already there for two days, they charged my credit card for a pet fee. More than what the pet fee would’ve been, if I was to actually have agreed to pay for their fee in the first place. There is zero maid service, which is fine except for there is also zero hot water. I literally had my hand under the water for 15 minutes waiting for it to get hot and it only got Luke warm. So forget about trying to take a bath.

I liked the facility in the beginning when I was told they would not charge for the two service dogs that were with me. I am a traveling nurse and I was in Rapid City for work.

The room was clean but there was a big metal futon next to the bed that we had to move to access one side of the bed. There were no lamps on the night stands next to the bed. There were no electrical outlets near the bed, no place to plug in a CPAP. There was one lamp on a table next to the fridge & microwave, the only light in the room and only one usable electrical outlet in the whole room, it was on that lamp. There was no extra toilet tissue in the bathroom. No Kleenex. There was no phone in the room, luckily we had our cell phones. There was a TV but no remote for it that we could find. Bathroom was clean except the toilet had ugly black stains and it was so low to the floor I almost could not get up from it (I’m 86).

That our room smelled like curry very badly. I believe we shouldn’t have to be exposed to such smells. Not all people enjoy the smell of curry. My coworker stayed a few rooms down and didn’t have any heat

We were there for 4 days and didn’t have housekeeping once. No one said anything about no housekeeping. The door was bashed, the lock had a hole in it. Mold around the tub. The carpet was sticky. There were waffles one of the mornings, the rest were all cold & grab things. No one cleaned up the mess of the syrup, etc or the breakfast tables. The fence around the pool needs paint & repair.

It looks nice in the pictures. There was an outdoor pool and it was kept clean! The hotel was easily accessible.

Property had undergone major refurbishment but not the room we was allocated rusty fitting ,sticky floor curtaining hanging off and said heated swimming pool but locked up unable to use.
