The staff didn’t do a proper job of checking us in. We found out bits and pieces of what was included every day. We weren’t told that you only get 50% off at the beach access and they didn’t have irons in every room.

Room was comfortable, pool area was nice and great location. Liked the access to the lake.

The rooms aren't cleaned until the 3rd day. I stayed 4 days and my room was never cleaned. Maid service went in upon my departure. The shower needed attention with cleaning. My kids showered wearing their flip flops. The front parking lot was blown clean by an employee, but he blew dust all over my newly painted SUV. He never blew the dust off after he was done. It cost me $14 to get my car washed at the local car wash. I had to ask twice for extra towels and TP during my stay due to house cleaning every 3rd day. At $300 a night, guests should be entitled to the best & highest standards the motel industry has to offer. Some people cannot afford this type of destination (Lake Tahoe) cost and save their money over time to provide a nice, upscale destination experience for the family. With so many competitors in the area, I'm on the fence about returning to the Station House Inn.

Very friendly & informative staff. The motel is close to all amenities. Vouchers available to guests for a discount at the nearby private beach. Extra towels provided by the front desk staff for use at the beach or pool. Complimentary drinks upon arrival. The motel has a heated pool. Very attractive curb appeal.

People having to pay for beach access. It was not an issue for us, and was no reflection on the hotel.

The S'mores by the fire and complimentary wine were very appreciated. Being Aussie travellers, we met some lovely people around the fire (who taught us how to S'more).

Great pool area with a hot tub however there are not enough sun beds. They have Cabanas but you have to pay $40 to use.

Location was great - 5 mins walk from the town and the beach. Great walking routes near by. Offers tea/ coffee, snacks, and cereal/ yoghurts every morning, as well as a complimentary welcome drink. We didn’t realise we had to pay to use the beach, however if you stay at the hotel they give you 50% off tickets. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The rooms are a little worn, but still comfortable.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. On our arrival, there were drinks and genuine hospitality. The location is excellent. Walking distance to the lake, shops, food, and entertainment. The pool and on site restaurant were a big bonus. The atmosphere is cool.

The mattress on the bed is in dire need of replacement. A huge "dip" was on my side of the bed. Very uncomfortable sleeping. Grab and go breakfast in the morning was good, although the coffee was slow to come out. And when it did come out, it was cold - which was kind of a mystery. In general, the hotel and room were clean, but had the 1970s vibe going. Aside from the shower (which was very good), the rest of the place looked as if it hadn't been updated recently. Fire pit area was nice, but it was cut off at 10pm sharp - even though quite a few guests were sitting there enjoying it.

Ground floor room location was fine. Location of hotel was great, relative to proximity to golf course and the main part of town.

Not having daily maid service was unfortunate - especially for the price we paid.

We enjoyed our stay. You cannot beat the location. We were in town for the golf tournament and just rode our bikes from the hotel, although we could have walked easily. It’s an older hotel, clean, very poor lighting in the rooms tho. Very pricey to stay for the tournament weekend. The pool area was nice. Each room had their own mini split so we were able to stay nice and cool.

The Inn did not clean rooms unless you were staying more than 3 days, and my trash cans got very full. I was able to get more towels when I asked for them. The lighting in my room was very dim.

The lake was close by and there was a swimming pool at the Inn. There was coffee and some food available in the lounge of the Inn.

The ac’s in the rooms are loud when on…I was up a few times in the night trying to regulate the temp in our room. Bathroom exhaust fans are extremely loud.

Dim lighting in room; bedside table lamps too low to provide good light for reading; couldn't adjust shower water temps before getting in without getting wet due to how shower door opened;

Very comfortable bed; spacious room; good air conditioning; small refrigerator worked well; dresser/desk had 3 drawers for clothing; Netflix on TV so could sign in to my account; lending library; artesian water in faucets; short walk to a private beach that hotel had discounted voucher to use; could also eat/drink at the beach restaurant without entry fee; quiet area; ample parking; plenty of room in sink area for toiletries; 10 min. walk to retail and casino area.

The lid of the safety deposit box in the room is heavy, and I accidentally injured my little finger.

All the facilities in the room and main lodge are fantastic. They provide complimentary breakfast, tea and coffee every day.
