United StatesThe older property needs a upgrade. Carpet, rooms, bathroom, hallway need to paint and refreshing. The only downside is that the hotel's room key was deactivated a few times during the two stays. The room was a bit clean but housekeeping missed a few things in the room a soda bottle in the window frame from the last guest. And the dusty on the base frame in bathroom. Bed were not too bad Bit comfortable. No vending machine are working refilled.limit snack there lobby. Their food is blocked away. dollar bus trolley stop by McDonald's. the laundry don't waste your time or money. We asked for change but didn't have it but later that night. we heard the washer and dryer weren't working properly. So we decide Ubers to the laundry mat a few blocks away down the street.
I stayed here two nights but I wish just did one night. For one night been okay. My mum want a stay in Galveston for two days. Checking in was pretty easy. staff is friendly. lobby is pretty clean. Pool was pretty nice and refreshing. It wasn't busy because during the week. A pool towel was available and breakfast was your basic egg, a waffle maker, yogurt, cold / hot cereal sausage , and apple juice was pretty good. "Location" was is the main key and was the cheapest hotel in Galveston. The only reason I booked it was because of the close cruise port. Coffee and tea are available 24/7.

Window view wasn't the best, but it was ok. Partial roof, partial oceanview. It didn't really matter since we were close enough to walk over. Good stay!

United StatesCarpet in bedroom was lumpy. Should probably switch out to tile. More sanitary. Small shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles and not nearly enough. Should go to large refillable bottles like other hotels have done. Cable channels not very good. Too many infomercials and not enough good family shows or local channels.

United StatesThe only real issue I ran into was that the little commissary at the front desk was cash only, but did not have enough cash to even break a $20. This was not the fault of the night worker, but of the management. I understand not wanting to have a lot of cash on hand in case of theft, but having so little that you can't make $15 change is absurd. The only other mild complaint was that the only light in the bathroom comes from the mirror light, which wasn't very bright, but enough to make due.
The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.

United StatesThe walls are very thin. You could hear people talking as they passed the room, and there was a kid that played upstairs our entire stay. The elevator is very small. Breakfast was decent. The hotel was a little pricey to be so far from the main beach.
