Nothing comes to mind very pleased with to stay. The bed was comfortable the room had a nice window cover covers which we could open and get sunlight very appreciate. Coffee unit in the room was was great and the amount of coffee and the breakfast was even better.

Breakfast was good. The sausage patties were burnt, but the bacon and sausage links were well done and tasty. The scrambled eggs were done well and waffle maker was excellent. Would’ve liked a larger variety of fruit. Breakfast more than my expectations.

My room has two sinks so one person can be showering while another person can be brushing teeth at the same time. My room faced the back of the building so minimum noise.

What I didn't like was being over charged for the room. The room was supposed to be $149 per night plus tax, approx. $164.19 per night. We were charged the correct amount that I was quoted for the first four nights, 6/29, 6/30, 7/1 and 7/2/25. However, on 7/3/25, we were charged $197.25 ($179 per night plus tax), and on both 7/4 and 7/5/25, were each $208.27($189 per night plus tax. Basically, what it comes down to is we should have been charged $1149.33 and were charged $1270.55. The amount I believe that we were over charged is $121.22.

My husband and I enjoyed the hotel. The breakfast was wonderful. A different variety each day. We didn't realize that the hotel didn't have an elevator, only stairs. My husband has a bad knee, so they were able to get us a room on the main floor. We were scheduled to stay for eight nights, but we had to go home early for work. After a few phone calls we were able to get the room credited back for the eighth night.

We stayed for a couple of night while doing activities in the Coloma area and it was perfect for that. The room was clean, the breakfast was OK and the location convenient.

The desk in my room was much taller than the chair. I couldn’t sit at it. Strange height combo.

Breakfast was very good. Nice selection of food items from which to choose. Staff at desk was very helpful and pleasant.

Key cards failed repeatedly. Room 240 near doorway was noisy. Housekeeping staff apparently “fluffs out” the box of tissues. That’s disgusting; please stop pulling out a clump of tissue to make it look like ??? You don’t need to be handling the Kleenex. That is unsanitary!!!

Disappointed in breakfast. Set up needs to be rethought. Waffle making station right next to one hot container holding sausage, egg and bacon causing crowding in that area. Each item should have its own container so guests can move along as they help themselves. Also we asked about shuttle to town center and a little confusion as to whether there was one or not. We got Lyft back and forth $20-$30 each way but there were 4 of us.

Our room was ready earlier than expected. Hot tub was wonderful after a day of traveling. Room was clean and good size so we could have friends stop by before dinner. Walk to Mexican restaurant right by property. Small downtown but lots to explore and a nice mix of restaurants and bars. Great history to learn.

Fitted sheets are old and don't have elastic at the corners so we were fighting with the sheets during the night - they pulled off the corners as soon as we got into bed, and then by the time we woke up, they were balled up in the middle of the bed. The pad underneath the sheets also pulled off the corner as well, and it was twisted too. The curtains in Rm. 201 were badly stained - didn't affect our stay much, but not a good look.
