The fitness room could be improved, but as it is it was good enough for me.

I’ve booked the Best Western Plus Garden Court Inn in Fremont countless times. It’s centrally located in the Bay Area, close to shops and amenities, and has a small fitness room — everything I need for a comfortable stay. When I need a hotel, I don’t even search anymore; I just book here. The staff is always helpful and responsive. On one occasion, there was excessive noise coming from the pool area, and the guests were being quite rude. Fortunately, the front desk staff — especially the lady on duty — handled the situation persistently and resolved it quickly. I also once had an issue with my room, and they switched me to another one immediately without any hassle. Overall, this place feels like a comfort zone for me when I need a reliable stay in the area.

The hotel was a bit under staffed. We had lines at check in, reception wouldn't pick up the phone. The breakfast area was often packed, too.

The pool area is beautiful. Breakfast was good, too. It's also possible to walk to restaurants such as Olive Garden, which is great.

We went to bed & my husband's cpap wasn't working. The outlets on the lamp were dead so I had to get up to find outlets but there were NONE to use by the bed. Thankfully, I took an extension cord so we had to set that up & string it across the head of the bed. BAD! Coffee was just blah. Cook was standing around not paying attention, so I told her the bacon was out. She went to warm some up. The new bacon was horrible, as it must have been stirred constantly so it was ALL broken up into little pieces while standing in at least 1/4" of grease. She should have drained it & kept it mostly whole!! Eggs were grainy so tossed them. Coffee was empty so had to tell her as she stood there not looking around. Parking is atrocious! People steal catalytic converters in Fremont and there was barely any safe parking available. Only 2 electric car plug ins.

Our room was across from the pool & had a patio w/2 chairs & a small table. We took a 2nd small table outside to eat dinner. It was wonderful with the pretty plants & trees. The room was large & bathroom was nice. It had a nice fridge, microwave, pod coffee pot, tv, desk, and king bed w/2 lamps w/usb & reg outlets, one lamp's outlets worked only intermittently, not good. Could not give it a 10 for nice room/view because of issues & horrible food, lazy cook.

Some of the room items weren’t there as expected…lotion and body wash in the shower. The bars of soap work although it’s not preferred. Otherwise it was good.

On my morning of check-out, the cleaning staff kept knocking on my door - once while I was sleeping, and again while I was getting ready. This happened while I had my ‘do not disturb’ sign hanging. This was before the check-out at 12. The front desk staff was very kind and helpful throughout my stay.
