The smoke detetector had plastic wrap covering it. We had trouble getting on the wi-fi. It took two days until someone at the front desk know what was wrong. We have a VPN on our phone. We had to disconnect the VPN in order for the wi-fi to work. We asked at least 4 staff members and they did not know to ask if we had a VPN on our phone.

The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is visibly showing its age. The spiral stairs in the pool area are rusted. The ceiling by one of the slides is peeling and rusted through. A fire extinguisher on the main floor is expired. And there are cracks and peeling wall paper in our room.

My kids loved the pool area and the slides.

The hot tub was more like a Luke warm bath, 1 of the main reasons got a hotel whole in Fargo, so disappointing

Check in staff was absolutely rude and told me I couldn't stay even though I had a reservation cause they over booked. After 10 mins of arguing I was finally given my room key only after telling me I could stay at a different hotel. I traveled with 5 little kids and was exhausted and just wanted to check in and get to My room. The front desk lady was an elderly lady and very rude. Cause of this I will book at a different hotel from now on.

Everything else. The pool was ok. The hot tub alternates between warm and cool jets. Super strange. Even stranger is the placement of the second slide routing directly over the hot tub. So, cold water drips onto those in the hot tub. Any "breakfast included" is tough to complain about but, I promise you, there is a few things that made me weary of making a trip down on the second day. Old, slimy sausages that most likely were the culprits of my bubble guts later that day. Dry eggs. No one was using the tongs, so I skipped the breads altogether. The shower is your typical hotel shower with very little pressure but the cherry on top was the shower rod/curtain. It appeared to have been ripped off it's brackets. Therefore you're constantly pulling the curtain shut, as it keeps wanting to meet in the middle - exposing both the left and the right of the shower to the open air. Infuriating. The hotel's shortcomings have nothing to do with the staff and everything to do with apparent deferred maintenance. Too bad, too. Its a great location.

The beds and the staff. That's it. The beds were very comfortable. Rarely do I get a good night's sleep at hotels. These were really nice. The staff were pretty helpful.

My card key didn't work the first time - front desk came up to fix the issue. Next day, the same thing. Stairways had not been vacuumed for a long time. It needs a lot of updating!

the fact that their was a birthday party going on and kids were wild and was throwing a small football around and that it seemed like the parent/parents were not supervising much and the fact that the hot tub wasn't real hot and that the kids thought they could swim in the hot tub and hog it and play in their.

Stairwells weren't cleaned at any time during our stay. Had debris. Elevators, while still fully functional, made noises when stopping that were concerning. Narrow doorway in elevators. Even staying 4 nights, they don't automatically do any room cleaning/towel replacement. They had been doing renovations for years but the overall appearance of the halls/stairs doesn't reflect this. (The change from climbing wall to waterslides has made the pool area much more busy though.) Still has COVID policies mentioned in the confirmation emails but were not still implemented. Pool was open, no staff was wearing masks etc.

One of the better breakfasts offered. Available until 10. Had dove products, the soap was much thicker than the typical hotel bar. Friendly desk staff. Quiet room, beds.

Hotel needs an update in decor and lighting. Requires more frequent cleaning of all common areas/halls and stairwells. Breakfast was unappetizing and the options provided did not look appealing.

Overall hotel seemed very rundown and dirty. The elevator seemed very noisy and did not feel safe; also was very dirty.
