How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was very small. No AC in the lobby and it was 93 degrees. There was AC in the dining area, just not the halls or main lobby.
The location was excellent. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We liked the free breakfast and pool. We stayed in 3 different hotels on our trip, and this one was our favorite. Best beds of the 3 hotels wexwere in.

the breakfast lacked variety but was great taste-wise. The balcony was a plus, but lacked privacy (easily accessible from other rooms).
Location is very good with the proximity to the lake. The pool installation (pool, spa and sauna) were very good. Bonus points for the hot pool. The Bed is very comfortable.

The Adirondack theme was perfect but some areas could use some updating. But all in all it was exactly as I expected.
Excellent location, right across from the Olympic museum. Breakfast was also excellent. Very nice themed dining area. Every employee we encountered was very friendly and helpful.

Overall everything. Can't complain. Some people complain about parking but it's not a big deal at all. I especially liked the TV let's you sign in with your Netflix and cast your device with a qr code.

Good variety of choices for breakfast. Liked having coffee available all day and the cookies in the lobby. Liked the spaciousness of the room as rooms in newer hotels in this price range are often smaller. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Location was great for us.

Carpet could be replaced. Pool could be little more heated.

The building reminded me when I was a kid going to the mountains. It was old and a little musty smell.
The free breakfast was great and location was fantastic. Right in the middle of everything. You can walk to all shops and restaurants.

Hard to find parking if you arrive late.
Convenient location, friendly staff, outstanding breakfast, fast check in. Rooms are older style but spacious and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would come again in the future.

Parking. It was hard to get out. Take out the fountain so you can drive straight through to the road behind.

Within walking distance to restaurants and attractions. The continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel is clean and quiet at nighttime. The deck outside is spacious and comfortable. Nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax. Plenty of parking. The staff were very nice and attentive to the quests.

There were not many options for people with food allergies for breakfast, also I'm your room the AC unit is directly behind the curtain, so if you wanted more air you needed to keep curtains open at night when sleeping , the room the pool is in was super hot
Beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was good. Location to downtown was good, nice balcony , nice sitting area down stairs to as well, the pool was very nice

The smell of humidity in the room coming from the old carpet on the floor. One of the mattresses in our room was way too soft to be comfortable.
Breakfast was great. Fresh food, lots of choices and different both days we were there. The staff is very friendly and concerned with our satisfaction. Bathroom was very clean. The size of the room (double queen beds) is perfect for a family of 4.
