The beach within walking distance is private and costs $30, so you’ll need to drive to reach public beaches. Parking is available for a fee but spaces are not reserved, if you go out for the day and return later than other guests, you may not find a spot.

The shower was waaaay small. That’s it. That’s may only complaint.

The room was wonderful! Bed comfy and I was able to cast to the room TV…bonus! This is a pet friendly hotel in South Lake Tahoe so there’s not a ton high classness, but in terms of charming, hospitable, a local feel and all the warmth and magic of Tahoe, this place has it. It’s also located across from Heavenly Village so there’s tons to do, eat, shop for, etc. Great location! Just park at the hotel, get settled in, then walk around! Oh yeah, and amazing breakfast! It’s free, in the attached Hotel Becket restaurant, and has all the yummy stuff so many hotels no longer offer. We didn’t eat there for dinner but they gave us a a 25% discount coupon upon check in. Nice!

The carpets were threadbare and there were runs and tears in it. It would have been nice to have a pool or hot tub. Lots of free parking but with the restaurant going at night, the place filled up early. We had to park far away when we came back late one night from dinner.

The proximity to restaurants and the lake was superb. A quick walk to the beach or a bite to eat. The restaurant on the property was clean and the breakfast was ample. Many choices from fruit and yogurt to waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and eggs. Good coffee topped it off. The beds were firm and everything was clean. The bathroom was wonderful with lots of hot water and water pressure in a new shower. Great towels too.

This hotel has a great location. Way to walk to shops and restaurants. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had a nice variety.

Beds were so uncomfortable. Walls are really thin so we were kept up most of the night from loud neighbours. The access to lake nearest (the beach) was private so you could not enter unless you paid. Nervada beach nearby is much nicer and free. Can get to using the free bikes at the hotel

Slightly outdated building, parking in the main lot is limited but they do have overflow parking.

Excellent location in downtown South Lake Tahoe right across from Heavenly Village. Slightly outdated building with basic amenities and comfort. Hot breakfast was included, which was great. It was also fairly affordable given the prime location. Parking in the main lot is limited, but they do have overflow parking.

Location was perfect with everything walkable in the Heavenly area. Surprisingly quiet. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

The shower was small, and you couldn't adjust the showerhead. So when in shower, you're practically kissing the shower wall. But other than that 👍🏼

Would be an added bonus to have a microwave in the room and because it’s pet friendly making sure those rooms are extra cleaned up.

I love that it was affordable for being so close to heavenly village. Great for families. Breakfast buffet was a bonus! Had a refrigerator and coffee in the rooms. Can sign in to your Netflix and YouTube accounts too.

Had to pay for the parking. Do not fall for Lakeside Beach location, as its not free and we ended paying $30 per person.
