MariAnn was an excellent host. She gave us suggestions on places to eat and things to see. She also makes an excellent blueberry coffee cake. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Maryanne’s place. She is an incredibly kind and welcoming host, and from the very beginning we felt completely at home. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay twice! The atmosphere was warm and genuine, even when Maryanne’s friends came to visit. We shared a lovely dinner together and went on a beautiful hike as a group—it truly felt like being part of a family for a few days. We rarely have this much fun and feel so comfortable when traveling. The accommodation itself is new and in excellent condition—clean, modern, and very well maintained. We can only recommend this place. Thank you, Maryanne, for such a memorable experience!

Our family stayed for several days in this beautiful and cozy house, where everything was thoughtfully arranged for the comfort of guests. We ordered breakfasts and dinners. I did not realize when I booked that breakfast was not included. This may have been my fault in viewing the website and explained why her rates were not as high as others. The $15/ person for breakfast turned out to be a good value, and we still less spent than at some other options.

Exceptionally clean Very helpful owner, sent us off with extra water and snacks for our trip. Creative, quality breakfast that included homemade Alaska rose honey, Alaska blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs with bits of salmon.

This isn't something we didn't like, but just to note that you will need a car to stay here as there are no places to eat or drink in walking distance.

Loved this as the perfect and very comfortable start and end point to our loop road trip up the Parks to Fairbanks via Denali, and back down the Richardson and Glen. If we'd had more time there was clearly lots to do around Palmer/Wasilla itself. Immaculately clean room in an Immaculately clean, gorgeous, house, and the host couldn't have been any nicer! This is a wee gem of a place to stay in Alaska, highly recommend!

The only thing I didn't like was having to lug our suitcases upstairs and our private bathroom was downstairs, but there was a nice sitting room upstairs with coffee/tea, games, TV.

Maryanne was a wonderful hostess. Her breakfasts were delicious and filling and ready at or earlier than the time requested. Though the house was in a neighborhood, there were still beautiful views of the mountains and night sky.

The amenities provided were superb - particularly the little extras in the bathroom like face cream, shaving foam and razor, cotton balls, loads of varied shampoos and conditioners, etc. Also loads of tea/coffee available, and games and books available too. Best kitted out place I've ever stayed anywhere - better than my house! Comfortable - plenty of space to sit either in the room or in common areas. Really comfy and cosy bed. Maryanne the host was very friendly and helpful - offered us a home cooked meal (which we declined but the thought was there). Location was in rural area so was super quiet.

A very nicely decorated private house with several bedrooms, to each bedroom belongs one separate bathroom. The owner. MaryAnn is very friendly and while meeting her in the kitchen I got some excellent tips for hiking in the vicinity :-).

All good, no issues whatsoever!

Great location, 20 minutes from Wasilla. Brand new house. Quiet neighborhood. Dedicated bathroom to your bedroom, no sharing. All amenities W/D, full kitchen, living room, you are renting a house but your bedroom and bathroom are yours, not shared. We had a broken windshield in our rental and had to have repaired before returning or faced hundreds of dollars of penalties. We had to provide a dry location for the windshield replacement if it was raining. I called Maryanne in a panic and explained our predicament, she said, "no problem you can move one of our vehicles out of the garage for your repair! Wow, what accommodation for our situation! We had good weather so we didn't need to move her car but we are so appreciative of her generous accommodation! Great fast WiFi and streaming sites provided for free for your favorite shows/movies. Great place and host, don't hesitate to book!
