Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A bit unorthodox that I had to go to the dive shop around the corner to pick up the key but since they in the inn that makes sense.
Great location. Allowed me to book only for Sat night in July which I appreciatrd.

It was confusing finding the place. There are limited and cramped parking spaces. The patio to the unit is very small. Not much to do in the area. The place can use an update, the decor and furniture are outdated.
The staff was pleasant, the room is clean and tidy. Large bathroom. Kitchen, stove, etc in the unit. Nice sliding door. Being next door to a store was convenient.

The check in process was rather impersonal. That was not a deal breaker but after our long drive, we had to follow the directions left on the door to check in and get our key.
This suite was very roomy. Everything we needed was there. We had very little contact with any employees. We had to pick up our key from a diving facility located behind the hotel. I would stay here again. We loved this little town.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Could really use a toaster in the room.
Most everything! Location was great! Enjoyed hanging out on the veranda every night with friends. Room was well equipped!

Would be great to bring your boat down and dock boat across street. They have a couple of rooms that allow pets, that’s great too. They just need to spray for mosquitoes, because I did get bit in the outside sitting area on second floor.

the carpeting on the floor holds some odor occasionally though and I know it’s the beach and there’s lots of humidity to deal with, but I don’t think that’s any fault of the hotel. I might recommend no carpeting so you can mop the floors and keep the humidity from building up in the rooms. Unfortunately people do bring pets and do smoke in those places in that odor is always held in carpets and curtains, but the place is such a good location such a good value and a nice layout.
I like the location, I like the parking, I love the people that work there, I like the layout of the gathering areas, and I like the layout of the rooms,. The bathrooms are very clean. The towels and kitchens are quite cleaned

The air conditioner was very noisy. The bed wad not very comfortable.
The location wad very convenient. The room was clean and had everything needed. There was an elevator and luggage trolley. A very nice porch to sit outside and emjoy the evening.

That no one was at the property. Had to go around the block to pick up and bring back the keys.
The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Was very close to downtown within walking distance.

The location was wonderful. Easy walk to downtown. The room was very large and tremendously comfortable. Breakfast was not provided but there are a number of excellent places within an easy walk.

Rooms are very dark even with all of the lights on. The deadbolt on my door was not very secure and needs to be adjusted/retightened.
Really liked the balconies on both floors. I sat out there and did office work. It was very peaceful.
