Fluctuating prices not he weekend really put you off staying longer.

Perfect NY hotel, great location on the upper west side, feels like a neighborhood not within the insanity of midtown. Loved this place and will stay again.

Great location for this art deco lady, full of charm and old New York style. Rooms had comfy beds, nice pillows, good aircon, good lighting, decent bathrooms. The kitchenettes were small but functionable, with fridge (small freezer) micro-waveh, toaster, kettle etc. With the market across the street, breakfasts in the rooms were a no-brainer. Staff very helpful at check-in, check-out and in between.

Our room although comfortable was looking a bit tired

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Always greeted with friendly smiles and offers of help. Handy to transport. Loved the kitchen and the supermarket across the road so we could eat in.

Bathrooms are sooooo small. The AC in our living room wasn’t working.

Unfortunately, the room was not really 100% soundproofed. We could hear the neighbour early in the morning (and once late in the night). It's nothing that cannot be solved with earplugs and is also not a critique to the hotel, since it is in an historical building (which is wonderful). But it's the only minor point we found, everything else was great.

Great Hotel in the Upper West Side. The room was spacious and as described in the pictures. If someone has a doubt if the Kitchenette is useful, I can guarantee that is well made and it is possible to cook in it. Great for a longer stay in NY! A top is the really friendly staff (especially the room service). The cleanness is spot on.

I had a truly wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right on Broadway in the Upper West Side, just a short walk from Central Park and close to the subway. The neighborhood has the perfect balance: residential, safe, and peaceful, but still lively enough with great spots around. One thing that really surprised me was how quiet the room was — I slept incredibly well every night. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus during the summer. The view from my room was also beautiful! As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, which made everything even better. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and would definitely stay here again.

Beds are very soft, I prefer a harder bed but others would love this.

Love the location, not quite in the insanity of Midtown, or as quiet as further up at Columbia, but still felt like a great neighborhood. Having a working small kitchen helped enormously and the Fairway supermarket directly across the street was perfect. In addition they have a clean laundry room, fantastic for extended travel. I did not expect that.

This is an older property but we found the room to be quite attractive. The room we had appeared to have been smoked in, and we were immediately upgraded. Staff was very helpful and gracious. The room had a kitchenette, which was really nice. For that and an excellent location on the upper west side, the price was very reasonable compared to other properties these days.

Good location. Rooms are big with kitchen facilities, including stove, oven and refrigerator. They even had a hot plate we could use on Shabbat.
