This is our second time at this place and we loved it. Facilities, the staff, service, suite comfort and location - everything was perfect.

Weather- it rained a lot but we still had a great time.

View- great uncrowded beach. Everyone was so friendly. Those comfy robes and rain showers were amazing.

Stuffy in Bedroom - Bring a fan Roll Away - Not usable Crabby Male Bartender - kids and Adults were afraid to even approach.

Family LOVED The BHS!! Stayed a couple of years ago (11 of us from Grandparents to kids) at another Hotel on the beach deigned for families (RF) -- they loved it, but LOVED this one even more. Smaller property, easy access to Beach (great Beach staff), Pool, etc. Tasha at the Bar is AMAZING. Bedrooms do get stuffy and Roll Away wasn't comfy, and other Bartender a TOTAL CRAB, but those are the only complaints Shuttles Service 5 Stars!

We really loved our stay. We appreciate that housekeeping came in later in the day to turn down, take towels and tidy up since we like to sleep in. The kids loved the pool and virgin pina coladas as well!

The community of St Pete Beach itself is squalid, unkempt and super expensive for what it is. The only redeeming thing about it is the beach itself.

It's right on the beach. The rooms are generously sized, and placed so that virtually every single one has some sort of sea view. There is ample parking. The people working at the hotel are simply wonderful, from the front desk to the guy handling the beach loungers.

The property was heavily impacted by hurricanes a few months ago so there was noise from the machines and workmen working hard on bringing the property to a good shape. Considering the consequences from the natural disaster it was expected that it’d take some time to fix everything.

Location is great. The pool area and the access to the beach are great. Staff is mostly courteous and friendly, especially Mr. McKay at the front desk and Chris at the bar. The beach person, Fabian is always friendly and helpful. The rooms have been refurbished and are beautifully appointed now. Very comfy.

I loved everything about it. Fabian and Alex are both fantastic beach managers. Chris and Andrea perfect bartenders. Maria from housekeeping the absolute best. The rooms are beautiful, clean and the view spectacular!! Can’t wait to come back!!

Construction and loud noises

Loved everything! Will definetely return when renos are completed. Unfortunately, the property was undergoing renovations which was not known when booking. The noise during the day was ridiculously loud, impossible to relax and started very early in morning.

Loved we got beach chairs that came with room . The shuttle to and from the Don Cesar hotel was quick . We were given a card to validate parking when we wanted to drive down there as well .

While clean the facility itself could use some TLC. The door to our room made a loud squeaking noise when opened. Also, some of the areas looked like they needed to be refreshed with some new paint. Appliances could use updating... dishwasher was old and microwave light did not shut off. Our unit was at the front of the building with the bedroom facing the road. You could hear a lot of road noise during the day; however, we sleep with a noise machine so it didn't bother us at all but it may bother those that don't and like quiet.

Unfortunately due to a tropical storm we had to adjust the dates of our stay. The manager was very accommodating to the adjustment. While we did not spend too much time at the suites location, utilizing the main hotel for the majority of the time, we had a very pleasant experience with the staff at both locations. The main hotel has a very nice fitness center and pool area. Didn't spend too much time on the beach due to very choppy water but many people did and they seemed to have an ample supply of chairs and umbrellas at both locations. (However, if you go in prime season you may want to plan on setting up early as I could see this being a different situation.) Appreciated the daily housekeeping service and washer/dryer in the units. Close to restaurants and they do offer a shuttle service.
