Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesRoom1522 Bed too short,matress too soft, matress sunken in and you roll to the middle. Very uncomfortable. Reached out Vacasa several times. They made note of the complaint but never would send someone to investigate the validity of the complaint.. They wouldn't consider switching to another room or replacing the beds nor a partial refund unless we checked out..We stayed out whole time. Back hurts. Slept in my own bed last night. We're been to Sands Ocean Club for our anniversary for 5 years in a row. Vacasa does nothing. Email about picking up access cards from a drop box in Longs SC. That was bogus. Cards were at the front desk. Just bad .

United StatesThe beds sqeaked when you moved, which woke up my baby sleeping. The room stayed hot and couldn't get it cool enough for us even with the balcony door opened.
I liked the personal touches it had. It didn't make it feel like a hotel room. The bathroom was huge and had a lot of room.

United StatesI didn't like the fact that I had spent 40 minutes of my time of a weekend trip picking up a key and dropping it off it was 20 minutes from the hotel when the rest of my family's got there keys dropped off at the hotel picked up and dropped off back off at the front desk I didn't like the fact that the floor had about three inches worth of dust on it I have allergy problems so I spent most of my time taking allergy pills and standing someone else's room because it was so nasty spider webs I just wasn't comfortable in there and the mattress was uncomfortably it was not soft except like a very cheap mattress it was not worth what was paid and if I knew that it was a Airbnb type thing instead of from the hotel I might not have gotten it I should have been told that in advance that that's what it was and that I was going t
