The room looked a bit old and cramped. Also, when I arrived, I sounded the doorbell multiple times and no one showed up to check me in for quite a while

Backpacker-style, don't expect much comfort. The young hostel crowd was sometimes a bit intense, mostly the guys, but that's not the hostel's fault.

The shower curtain in our 4-bed room wasn’t long enough, and the liner was covered in black mold. The kitchen is very small. (But the pantry is huge)

The location is amazing. The staff is so nice. There is a pancake and egg breakfast included every day. The common areas are awesome. The hostel hosts daily events like sangria night, tie dying, poker, etc. Everyone is respectful of the space- I got lucky and no one in my room was loud at night. Gym equipment is provided. Bikes, surfboards, and wetsuits are available to rent at very reasonable prices. There is a hostel puppy named Olivia!

Firstly, facilities are misleading, it said my room had a balcony when I booked, and this was the main reason for booking. However, the balcony, is the shared balcony at the front. The Double rooms, even though its hostel, need some attention as do some of the seating area. I dont expect it be perfect, but when things are ripped, it needs sorting. Being a bit older (52), I had no issue with the vibe and the place, but the quality of the room, curtains and stuff, could be better.

Location was nice, and it had a nice vibe around the place. Can understand why people stay at the location.

Some of the furniture especially outside could be updated so we can actually sit down. The furniture by the fire pit was very run down and ripped up.

I love that there were pancakes and eggs provided. I also loved the last evening I was here with the party and DJ.

Depending on which room you're staying in, it can get very noisy. I was woken up almost everyday by the garbage truck in the morning since the garbage bins were on the road right beside my room. Dorm room is pretty small for the number of beds and I can imagine it could get quite packed and claustrophobic if it was completely full. Be prepared to wait to use the toilet, as each dorm room only has one shared bathroom and there is another shared bathroom in the common area.

Location was excellent. Self-service breakfast (pancakes and eggs that you cook yourself, with fruits provided sometimes) was a nice touch. Staff were super friendly, and people there were very nice. I loved that they had activities planned out practically everyday, which brought the hostel community together. Bicycle, surfboard and wetsuit rentals for residents had the best value prices in the area. Lovely patio area that faces the beach where you can enjoy drinks on the bar chairs, couches or hammocks.

I stayed with a group for 1 night, so they were very noisy unfortunately.

They make efforts to take care of travelers well! For example, Free Breakfast and Light Meal. (Not always )

Staff are so friendly! Thanks for storing our bags for the day while we were waiting for our late flight. In the morning breakfast is do it your self pancakes,they provide the pancake mix and sometimes fruits. We also had coffee and tea! I loved the hammocks in the patio! Very social hostel environment

The place needs a bit of maintenance, some painting probably. It looks a bit unorganized, especially the kitchen and dining area with all the utensils.

The location is unbeatable, right on the beach. The staff is nice and they offer breakfast every morning as well as other events where you get the change to meet other travellers.

I found parking pretty easily, but I got lucky. I could see how it would be hard to find parking otherwise.
