I am not impressed with the breakfast. The hash brown potatoes are just not that good. It is okay, but there is also very little room to get around when it is busy. Everything is within a U-shaped area. I think it would be better if the coffee and juice machine were not right where all the food is. That would clear up a lot of congestion.

My son found out there was food for the fish/turtles behind the counter. That little bonus offering made his and our visit so much better. We took the breakfast out on the patio and the cool morning and the lake view were wonderful.

Most of the lamps didn’t have bulbs. The lighted mirror in the bathroom stopped working. The Sheetrock joints needed some repair. For the most part it was a comfy stay.

Overwhelming smell- sickeningly strong deodorizer type smell. Bothered my asthma lingered in my hair and clothing. Trash left in large bags in hallway in full view during entire stay. In room coffee surface was dirty with spilled coffee and had not been cleaned. Room had a moist feel and floor had visible moisture in the morning- I noticed this in other rooms as well because they had doors propped open.

The trash cans were overflowing outside main entrance and inside lobby this was a from the time we checked in until mid afternoon the next day. Area right by entrance smelt of pet urine and the parking lot had trash throughout it. The pool needed several repairs and wasn’t very clean. The outside lawn chairs area could be cleaned and updated better. The breakfast wasn’t being replaced when food ran out. Breakfast was available until 9am, but at 8:20am several items weren’t available. Trash was overflowing in the eating area and tables weren’t clean yet they expected guests to eat in the breakfast area.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable, location was great, lake area was pretty, and staff were friendly.

The breakfast, or lack thereof, was a total disappointment! This hotel could have been rated exceptional, but when there if no breakfast items/coffee items (creamer, hot coffee, etc) at 8am, thie hotel should NOT even suggest to patrons that breakfast is available! Total disappointment!!

the property definitely needs an upgrade & deep clean. There was mold on the ceiling, stains & mildew stains on bedding. dirt/trash stuck in corners, the halls smelt musty and literally a poppy-pin was holding the chain on the door that was between our room and the connecting room.
