I would have preferred a walk-in shower rather than a tub/shower. The bathroom had the only mirror, so another one, full length, in the room would have been nice.

We loved that the hotel room was located downtown within walking distance of the marina and tourist attractions. We have stayed in St Augustine several times over the years. This hotel offered free parking and breakfast every morning. The room was clean and the staff helpful. Our room was cleaned every day, and we got fresh towels every day, At 5 pm they have a social hour, in which snacks were provided. In the lobby was a small refrigerator that was stocked with bottled water for guests.

location to Downtown was 3min walk renovated and comfy room loved the Happy hour charcuterie and breakfast was great too. they beautifully combined old and new decor love the history of the building would definitely stay again as we were just passing through on our way to Key West

I honestly can't think of a thing.

If you are looking for luxury, then pay the $250+++ a night. If you are looking for a well maintained, very clean, small hotel in a perfect location for seeing all the St. Augustine sights, this is it!!!! I drove my car once after I arrived! I walked everywhere. A trolley stop is right down from the hotel and the best restaurants are in sight! The staff was so kind and helpful. I sprained my ankle the night before I checked in. No sooner had I gotten into my room than the young lady from the front desk brought me an ice pack!!!! I will stay here again!

We keep returning to this hotel every time we come here. Perfect location, quiet, very clean, beautifully decorated in classic style. Best yet, the staff is wonderful. This time we missed breakfast, and Jay (I believe that’s his name), the cook, stop cleaning up and told us to take our time and help ourselves. Always wonderful to come back.

Staff was amazing!! Location and accommodation were very nice. Charcuterie in the evening, lovely breakfast in the morning a plus!! Kids had a blast in the pool!

The only thing that could have been better is the bed squeaked a little bit.

Everything was great; view, location, quiet, comfort, service. We will definitely be back. It's hard to pick a hotel if you have never been there before. This was a great pick and we were very pleased.

The restaraunt being built in front which blocks the water view. The pool was closed the day we wanted to swim.

Inability to smoke on porch/balcony.

I requested a price on making the room a little more romantic, and they originally told me they needed a 3 day notice and the additional fee. Since this was a last-minute trip, I didn't expect to have that. To my surprise, we were able to check in early, and they had rose pedals shaped as hearts on the bed with two beautiful towel swans. They also included a handwritten note. The facility was clean and had a beautiful view of the bay.

Nothing not to like.

Location was right on the bay. At check in, there was complimentary charcuterie. Water bottles were unlimited and free of charge. Very much appreciated this time of year. Mrs Sherry at the front desk even provided snacks after hours when all restaurants were closed! Breakfast was included and very delicious. Ham, sausage, eggs, muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, milk, coffee, orange and cranberry juice and cinnamon crumble cake. Just fantastic!
