Nothing .... all was good 💯.

The room size, view, common areas, Marina and beach across the road. Wasn't busy or loud, didn't feel like I was in a tourist area. The room service and food, very tasty. That they had a little shop on the premises. The staff were great too. Would definitely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to go back to San Diego.

Beautiful hotel - from Front Desk staff, to Housekeeping staff, to comfort of the room, to location…all of it. Especially the on-site restaurant. I ended up eating majority of meals here at the hotel - food was very good and staff so warm and friendly. Happily looking forward to my next get-away at Bay Club Hotel.

Beautiful view, very clean, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, blow dryer, bath tub all came in handy. Restraunt and bar inside the hotel. Beach directly across the street. Boat tours on water. Friendly staff.

Check in , was told 4pm , we had called hotel from Las Vegas airport explaining wife was feeling sick . She had a fever and vomiting. On arrival around 12.30pm we was told we could get a room sooner, wait by pool. They said we would get a phone call as soon as a room was ready . Hotel was very quiet, hardly any cars or guests. Finally at 4pm we asked and they gave us our room .

Location and the happy hour offerings . Super quiet too, slept so well.

The shower

The only thing I thnk the hotel could improve is the shower,the water came out of the shower due to the shower head force and blew out the shower curtain so it made the water come out all over the floor

My only complaint was the mini fridge. It wasn’t very cold and i had breast milk that needed to be kept cold. The walls were also thin i could hear my neighbors talking. This didn’t bother me much though because they were not disruptive. I just hope we weren’t a bother with our baby crying.

Location is great, we were here for 4th of july and enjoyed the fireworks over the bay. The kids loved the pool. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. There was a small stretch of beach across the street for the kids to play at.

Parking posed a small issue. Some cars took up extra spaces causing lack of spots to park.

Staff helpful, clean, beautiful scenery and quiet. Very enjoyable. I'd would go here again.

During our latest stay, the mattress was uncomfortably firm.

We enjoy being next o the water. We require an accessible room. The room meets ADA requirements. Close to attractions and very good restaurants.

The parking spots are little narrow because I drive a lifted F250. Also we had to have the facility's come and unplug our drain for our shower. The room was missing a privacy curtain sheet and we requested one from the front desk at the same time we asked to unplug the shower drain. Also we paid for a bay view and we had two large palm trees in our view out the balcony and didn't see the bay.

When I arrived I was checking into a room that was on 2nd floor the last room down the hall left side of building. The view was of a building and was small. We are both handicapped . I went back to front desk and told receptionists the room was not exceptable . We were then checked into room 233 which was perfect. I called to report. that I left my hearing aid on bed stand but the staff couldn’t find it. I have looked everywhere in my belonging and can’t find it.

I’ve stayed there a lot over the years. The remodel looks great!

Loved the location on Shelter Island (away from usual touristy crowds) , beautiful views of bay and downtown, marina views, small sandy beach area directly across the street from hotel. Room was very comfortable and clean, staff were always friendly and helpful. Loved everything.
