Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesYou could hear neighbors staying in other rooms. Also every time someone walks up and down the stairs you could hear them while walking. If you are planning on walking to the tourist areas keep in mind this is located up the hills and then you have steps going up the rooms.
Clean and located in a great neighborhood. The view to the Space Needle.

United StatesAbsolutely horrible parking (no fault of the host) - at times I had to park far away and Uber to my room! Also three flights of stairs was hard to navigate, but it was kind of worth it for the view from my room. Just needs a little cart to lug stuff up to the room and for taking groceries up to the kitchen, and a little table and chair for the kitchenette area
Comfortable room, excellent view of Seattle skyline!, super comfortable well stocked communal kitchen, dining, and living rooms, good AC in room in the hot summer, safe quiet neighborhood, easy check in and check out

CanadaSupplying the toiletries mentioned in the welcome note in rooms, more kitchen supplies. People take some to their rooms, and things like glasses and cups can become in short supply short.
A comfortable stay, a hostel like setup. Location very good, on bus route, "walking" distance to shops and Space Needle, but very steep, would need to be fit. Communication with owner very good. If you like a shared kitchen, simple rooms, with shower, and facilities, highly recommended.

New ZealandBedroom very tight for 2 large bags. Noisy aircon. Use number 4 bus not E Rapid bus or will have to climb 136 steps up the hill with suitcases rather than get off across the road with the number 4. 2 flights of stairs to our room on second floor with bags.
Location, bus to downtown over the road but in walking distance to Space Needle. Free laundry facility. Microwave and coffee making in room but shared kitchen great and good way to meet other people. Bed very comfortable. Air con much needed in hot temperatures but noisy so opened window at night. Good to have own spacious bathroom.

CanadaVery clean, modern and relatively quiet stay in Queen Anne. Great accessibility to downtown, Fremont and Capitol Hill. The bed was very comfortable, and beautiful bathroom with amazing shower. The shared full kitchen area was a treat, very tidy and organized. The host, while not on site, was very responsive. The only drawback I would say is if you’re a bit noise sensitive (I am). I didn’t have any issues since I brought ear plugs, but due to a lot of hard surfaces and the minimalist decor in the halls and shared space, doors opening/ closing, people talking, even in their room with doors closed is well heard. Might be a good option for the hosts to add some textile hanging art or other to absorb some of the noise. Aside from this small detail, a good stay! Would come back:)

United StatesParking was a little bad, but doable.
This place was really nice to stay. Comfortable place that is like a hotel room with bathroom, sink, mic, fridge, and a centralized area where I was able to work with tables and full fridge with stove, sink kitchen, living room and dining room.

United StatesEverything was great, but it's important to note that the building is located on an inclined level, so we had to go up several flights of stairs (from the bus stop) and then up a hill to get there. It's not terrible, but it can be tiresome, especially after a night out. Unrelated to the suite itself—make sure you mark your food if you use the shared refrigerator. Someone ate my friend's leftover musubi.
The location was in a scenic and quiet neighborhood that was a short distance (10-15 minute bus ride) to the city area of Seattle. The suite itself was clean and fit our needs of having a place to stay, as we spent most of our nights going out. There's a shared kitchen area for the hotel tenants, though we only ran into the other tenants once or twice during our week's stay. I was able to communicate with the suite host via email from before and during our trip to check out. Real cool host!

AustriaThe booking process is quite a pain: Be aware of uploading documents, a selfie and have a $1,000 security blocked on your account, that takes time to be released again.
Nicely located, well equipped, clean and farely new space with all you need. Vince is super helpful in case you need something (including a link with access to helpful info with a personal touch). He is very responsive and even tracked down the cleaning time in case we wanted to get in earlier. Quiet neighborhood, with walking distance to Space Needle.

United StatesThe coffee maker in the room was complicated and I couldn't figure it out so I had to go out for coffee every morning. A simple drip brewer would have been so much better.
I liked the availability of the full kitchen and the washer and dryer.

Czech RepublicEverything was great except for the noise of the adjoining residents. I spent 5 nights and only 2 of them were quiet. On one night a group of guests decided to have a party in the common room that started at 2am and lasted until 4:30. Noises on the other nights were primarily caused by loud tv's and people's dogs (whining due to being left alone in the room, etc.) There is little to no sound-proofing in the rooms.

GermanyEverything about this accomodation is awesome: - the room: clean, superb bed, microwave, coffee machine, water kettle and sink were available in the room. It also had a spacious walk-in wardrobe, and of course a spacious bathroom as listed. - the host: communication was excellent. Vince answered every email within hours, checked in with me throughout my stay and communicated my responsibilities very clearly. They also prepared a very thorough guest brochure with information about the accomodation, surrounding area, and Seattle in general. - the appartement overall: super clean, with a great kitchen including all amenities, and a very comfy couch in the adjacent shared living room. - the location: the accomodation's location in Queen Anne, right next to a bus stop and a few hundred meters away from an express busstop, is perfect for anyone without a car. From my room I had a gorgeous view over Union Lake, and once I stepped out of the door I could see Seattle Center and the Space Needle (~1km walking distance). - the cost: a total steal, after a quick comparison with hostels in the Seattle area and some cheaper hotels. Well worth the money.

ThailandWe were locked in for over an hour due to the automated deadbolt malfunctioning. This was the only exit and windows were located on the second floor. Can you say fire hazard?? We called customer service wow attempting to get out and they were not helpful. 2 neighbors and our Uber driver all attempted to get us out from the outside, with no success for over an hour. We were late for concert. When we left, we were concerned all night about whether we would be able to get back in, or leave the next morning. We even considered calling the fire department to break us out, but were scared about losing the $1000 security deposit if the door was damaged. I was told I would receive a callback from management and never did.
It was a great price and it was clean. The bed was also very comfortable.

CanadaIt was cold in the common areas. The electrical went out in the kitchen when I was making breakfast. People wore shoes in the house making it noisy and dirty. At one point I heard a loud knocking on the main door but because I didn’t know anyone staying at the house I couldn’t answer and actually felt nervous about this. The appliances in the bedroom (kettle/ coffee) are impossible to use. The plug was too far to reach. The fridge in my room also did not work, but the light wouldn’t turn off.
The room was cozy and the kitchen was clean. It was really nice to do laundry on my last night.

United StatesThere wasn't any breakfast. Small room. TV was positioned were it can't be watched. More emphasis should be given about "No on-site parking ". Once we found a free parking place, we left our car there and Uber'ed and lime scootered, around the city. That ended up being very fun though. Plan to arrive before 3 pm to find a spot though.
Not like, No breakfast. Clean. Central location to the city, space needle, pike place. Good choice of restaurants nearby.

United StatesIt's loud and with multiple guests staying there, you will hear a lot of disturbances. From people talking to them watching TV or slamming doors in and out. It's not their fault, but it does speak to the design and downsides of the place with a bunch of rooms rented out.
It's nice and decently clean. Has accurate description of the place. Host was communicating. Location is not far and convenient.
