The wifi didn’t work in my first room. I’ve told that to 2 girls in the reception but none of them could do anything about it. Finally, Jordan moved me to another room and that fixed it.

It’s comfortable, clean and the rooftop is amazing. Jordan and Wallace really made the difference, they really wanted people to be happy for all the stay.

That it got a bit too hot

The room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were perfect. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling, and it got a little warm. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Restaurant in hotel was not suitable to anyone with a dietary requirement. I am coeliac & cannot eat gluten and there was no gluten free bread or cereals I could only have drinks or fruit and omelette from everything on the entire menu. I asked for potatoes but they said these had to be fried (in a fryer along with wheat products) and they could not do them for me just boiled. Surely it would not be too hard to have GF bread frozen and defrosted when needed as lots of people must request this? Ended up buying breakfast things from nearby stores / deli's every morning.

Room excellent and well serviced, staff very friendly and helpful especially with our luggage on last day. Good location, fairly quiet but easy to get to Michigan Ave etc.

we were there for the Marathon which went past the hotel so popular hotel for it, the only fault is the hotel never put anything on for the runners on Marathon morning, for example like an early breakfast. we were able to use a microwave but coffee machine was out of use and water machine was empty. apart from that this hotel is great.

Biggest inconvenience for us was the lack of a traditional coffee urn in the lobby. One has always been there each time we visit, now replaced by a fancy computerized machine that was broken for the most part. It was a disaster for the staff, and even when working, took forever to make a cup, and mostly just spit and chortled. It was the weekend of the Chicago marathon and with a full hotel, the sign said “Coffee machine broken -sorry.” Why replace something that always worked with something that only frustrates everyone???? Room ac was extra loud too, but we just shut it off. Otherwise everything was fine. Staff is always friendly, but seemed sort staffed this visit. Hope it’s not a sign of things to come.

Our 5th time staying. We’ve always liked the location.

The roof top view at night was amazing , and the pizza place attached to hotel Was great too . The room was also massive, loved it . The man on the desk was also very nice and helpful .

The only complaint was no fridge or microwave. That’s it!

First of all staff especially Jordan was fantastic! He helped out with our parking QR code, we was having issues with but personally took care of it! And was super friendly! The location was perfect and was clean!

The hallway to the rooms stunk. We had to walk super fast from the elevator to the room.

There was a weird smell in the hallway both days.

The concierge: Jordan made our stay exceptional, he helped us with everything and told us about things going on in town. Very helpful and nice.

How loud the traffic is, which is not their fault. I just put the AC unit on constant fan, and boom, instant white noise.

Location is great. Despite what other reviews have said, our floor and room had new carpet and tile in the bathroom. Yes it is an older hotel, but it has been updated and kept up.

The layout was weird. We had to take an elevator to the floor under ours, go down a bunch of Halls to get to another elevator to get to our room. Similar situation for getting to the rooftop pool and view

The location was superb for walking thru the city and to navy pier etc. pizzeria uno (home of the original deep dish) was a short walk away!

Advertises as having free Wi-Fi but this was only available in the main wing of the hotel.

Very comfortable room, and a great size.
