Parking deck had really tight parking spaces. Breakfast buffet food wasn't that good.

Not too crowded, pool's were clean, easy walk to the beach. Staff was really friendly.

There was only one thing that I can place here due to maybe letting customers know that the resort's payment system will not accept certain debit cards. We had a person in our group try purchasing two times within the resort with only being told that the card is being declined. A call to the cardholder's bank let us know that certain business systems will not always accept this bank card. So, just a heads up to ask if you're not with a traditional banking system.

I have stayed at many resorts along the Grand Strand from Garden City to North Myrtle and this was the absolute best stay I have experienced. Beginning with the staff meeting me in the parking garage and offering outstanding service and accommodations to help the check in run smooth, to daily room service as needed. The room was nicely organized and clean along with all the amenities needed. This was the first time I stayed somewhere that had all the cleaning equipment needed for a girl with a little OCD (big bonus in my book!). With the indoor pool and hot tub, my family stayed entertained during the stormy weather we experienced. The atmosphere for the outdoor area with cabana bar, entertainment and wonderful layout of the outdoor pools were a breath of fresh beach air :) The Avista will be my number one place to stay when visiting Myrtle and surrounding areas from now on.

Everything was great!

Everything was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and fit my entire family, and very clean. And the beach view from the balcony was beautiful! All of the pools/hot tubs/lazy rivers were so fun. Plus, there were so many of them that there was never too big of a crowd in one section. The location was PERFECT. Very close to everything, yet definitely not in a crowded area. Staff were wonderful and were happy to get you anything you needed. Overall, would definitely stay here again!

Wish the shower had more water pressure. Also sofa was a little sunkin. Needs more firmness. Had to flip the flush handle on the toilet to stop it from running occasionally. All minor items.

Everything was just fine. My room was on 14th floor...excellent location. Close to elevator. Very nice resort. Maid service great with extra linen. 1st floor restaurant was better than last year. Menu had more selections. Breakfast bar was fine. Nice view from balcony. Liked the TVs. Parking was great off loading and loading to leave. Hope to stay here again. Thanks for everything.

Everything! This wonderful resort SAVED our vacation in July due to a horrible hotel booking made prior. When finding a new place to stay i came across a last minute deal at Avista! This stay was AMAZING! our room was very spacious and clean. The lazy river and bar was a match made in heaven and the hula show made myrtle beach feel like Hawaii! Definitely would love to stay again! 100/10 recommend

The check in parking with one way in and out was circus/fiasco. Getting in and out of parking garage was always an adventure, barely enough room to pass, had to constantly stop a back up to let people through, thank goodness for the corner mirrors. The hallways with out air conditioning were miserable.

Liked location on the beach, to shops, restaurants, and parasailing. Bell hop and check in staff were great. Rooms were nice and clean, beds, pillows, and living room furniture were comfortable. Room and kitchen were well furnished and maids were very nice and helpful.
