Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesI've stayed at the Austin Tech Ridge Road location twice. This seems to be a fairly new hotel; it's very neat and clean. Staff has been super friendly and helpful. There is no restaurant but some food items are available to purchase. A microwave, hot water and coffee are in the "dining area" of the lobby all day. The included breakfast is good but not great. Both times it was a pre-wrapped biscuit-sausage-egg sandwich. Coffee is good and available all day in both regular and decaf. And juice (orange and cranberry) were available. Overall it's a decent breakfast, just don't expect a spread like you'll find in other hotels. I will definitely stay here again.

United StatesMy wife & I have stayed at this Avid Hotel twice now. The staff both times have been very friendly & helpful. The room is just as we expect. Temperature regulation is a little tricky but both times we stayed it was very humid so I’m sure that plays into it. The breakfast could also be a bit better. However, we, personally, are not fans of “grab & go” breakfasts. Overall, the facility is always clean, staff is friendly, the location is great if you don’t wanna stay smack in the middle of things & it’s very comfortable. We will continue to stay here when visiting Austin & will book future Avid hotels or IHG hotels!

Gwendolyn the weekend breakfast host was very friendly and did a great job making us feel welcome. Thank you. Just FYI-- I 35 is under construction so we used Dessau and Cameron as alternatives heading south. Regulating the temperature of the room was challenging - difficult to adjust. The lighting was harsh. We used a scarf over the lamp to make it more pleasant.
