Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesI knew I would be arriving late and asked if I needed to pick up the keys anywhere and was told that I did not. I was told on the phone that I could go right to the condo and was given a 2 digit code for the lockbox on the door. The code was for the lock box at the rental office several blocks away where all of the late arrivals are readily available with full names and exact locations on the outside of the envelopes- not very secure. As for the unit itself, when I got there it had not been cleaned and there were no amenities, including soap, washcloths, or toilet paper. The sheets were full of sand and had hair on them. The floor was sticky and grimy. I was told that the cleaning crew would be there in the morning but by 4 PM they still had not arrived. The lock was defective and I had to call to have someone from the company let me in. I found that if you use email or the text option to report problems, it goes to the national office and the tickets do not get put in to actually fix whatever is wrong. You have to call the local office and hope you get someone on the phone who is helpful (I got one very helpful gentleman and one very unhelpful person). The property itself is very run down. The hallways are dark and dingy with broken exit signs hanging by wires. The AC units are so incredibly loud you can not have a conversation outside the unit. They are super loud inside too. The WiFi didn't work and when I notified Vacasa, I got not response at all. There is no closet or other place to hang up clothes, just a dresser. I was there for work and had work clothes that needed to hang up, but the only closet is full of beach gear with no hanging space. There was no where to stash luggage either since the closet was filled. The whole unit was in desperate need up updating with badly scuffed and dirty walls, and a filthy, stained sofa. This used to be such a nice building and relatives even owned a condo here. It's gone way downhill.
The location is excellent, particularly if attending a conference at the Clarion. It's easy to access the beach. While it looks out at the ocean, it also faces right at the Clarion so all the rooms on that side can see right in. It's also right above the dumpsters and air handlers for the Clarion so you can't actually hear the ocean. It is nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Parking was easy but there is a $40 fee that must be paid in cash upon arrival. This is excessive given the fees and cost already charged but at least the attendant was very nice. They do have wheeled bins to help haul luggage.

United StatesThe horrible mildew smell. The dust in the ceiling. Dried up food juice on the refrigerator handle. No toilet paper nor paper towels (I didn't even bother to ask). The bed was very uncomfortable. The couch and decorative pillows had dirt stains on them! The floor was nasty but not visible, you had to walk bare foot on it to realize that it was that filthy !
Access to the beach!
