Bathroom had long black human hairs on floor ! Yuck Everything nearby closed at weekend. Only McDonalds for meals. With street people felt unsafe going out after dusk. Was a long way from shops restaurants etc . Felt isolated.

The little roaches. I killed 4 on the first day. Then there were no more after that. Just make sure you don't leave food out. We tied up the trash bags to deter any further intrusion😂

Loved the location! It is within walking distance to several popular sites in the city. You are in the heart of the business district of Honolulu city. We loved viewing the historic contrasting with the modern architectures. We needed to drive to the windward side a few times, and this location was near the windward bound roadways. Our room faced the Honolulu Harbor, which made for a very nice view. We loved that the room had a full kitchen as well as 2 TVs... like an apartment. Furnishings were a bit outdated except for the bed. It was so comfortable. Next to the hotel is an amazing patisserie, which is great for coffee too. Lots of eateries nearby.

Parking was $45 a day! We couldn’t get the TV to connect to the Internet. Upon discharged, we realize there was instructions in the check-in package. We left the apartment for two days to go camping on the beach and when we returned, there was water all over the bathroom and hallway and living room floors. We notified the front desk and they took care of it quickly. The electricity went out. We were told this was an unusual event. I was unable to do my hair and make up prior to flying home. We had to call the front desk to get an elevator from the 16th floor to let us out of the building.

We expected to get a hotel room and when we arrived, it was an entire apartment. Its location was close to a lot of food places and Chinatown. Many of the food places cater to the business hours of Downtown workers. The staff and security was incredible there. It even had a washer and dryer!!!

Our room was very comfortable, had everything we needed for our 4 day stay. We arrived early on the day of check in and our room was ready. We had a great veiw form the 37th floor of the harbour.

Big refrigerator and microwave in living area. Kitchen was very small. Not many utensils. Doors missing from bedroom to separate living area. Found 1 roach crawling on the wall and others in kitchen area. Not furnished very well. One tv in bedroom and one in living room. Lots of channels to keep you entertained. I have stayed here 3 different times, in 3 different apartments. They are all different.

A few minor issues — the hair dryer emitted a plastic melting smell when using the hot setting (we could only use the cold option), and there was no kettle.

Everything was great — especially the powerful water supply and drainage, well-functioning AC control, and the wonderful views (sea, mountains, and city; one day we even saw a double rainbow from our bedroom). The apartment was very quiet and spacious.

The staff at the front desk of the Aston were phenomenal. They offered suggestions for best beaches and places to go, as well as offering towels to use at the beach.
