Because it’s an old hotel, the room was small

When I booked, I booked with breakfast included. By the time of our stay, breakfast was no longer included. There should have been a price adjustment for that.

The mattresses were old and too soft. They would need to be changed.

While I didn’t pay attention to the type of room when booking! I will next time as the room was very small but it was adequate for one night. Otherwise the room is comfortable and quiet facing the roof and parking area.

Location was excellent. Nicely restored and all were very polite and professional. Just not a lot of spirit by any of the staff.

A solid choice when visiting the Oregon Shakespeare Festival!

The headboards of the beds banged into the wall every time we got in and out of the beds. With three people in the room, it was a little annoying.

Amazing location! Super friendly staff upon check-in. Nice bathroom with good water pressure in shower. Good size of room: small, but not cramped. Excellent sheets!

I'd say for $200+ a night in a small city I'd expect the room to be a bit bigger. But that’s really a quibble given how lovely the hotel is.

This historic hotel is situated two blocks from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It's a perfectly charming place to stay with well-appointed, clean, and well-stocked rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Disappointed with the management. I’d lost a shoe and thought it might be in the room closet, but despite emails to 3 people asking to check the closet I have not received an answer from any of them.

There wasn't anything I did not like.

Very good for a continental breakfast. Location was fine. I suggest putting ingredient lists of your prepared food out in the breakfast area so that people with food allergies and conditions such as diabetes can know what they are eating.
