The water pressure could be better and the breakfast was very simple (only bagels, muffins and some yogurt).

Huge room with a good size kitchen. I was surprised by the fact that we had laundry and dryer in our room (unsual for most hotels). Shower was very spacious as well!

walls are a bit thin so we could hear voices from the room directly across the hall (we were on the 4th floor), plus one guest had a huge dog (i didn't even know pets could stay) who was barking loudly at me in the hallway at 6am when i was going for a run

proximity to everything we needed near the downtown area, the room was classy and well appointed, appreciated the continental breakfast each morning, and also loved the relaxed vibes of the establishment.

Excellent experience overall! We were in town for the Santa Rosa marathon and the hotel was ideally located walking distance to the marathon, as well as several great restaurants in the downtown area. The room seemed brand new and had a separate bedroom, living and kitchen area. The staff were terrific. Overall would absolutely choose this hotel again on a return trip to Santa Rosa!

Tight spaces to park in garage.

You pay for abalcony but there are no chairs of any kind to sit out on it. The water pressure could be better. The coffee maker needs to go on something else, the nightstand hardly left room for glasses, phone, etc. The walls etc. weren't very noise proof, especially if you are a light sleeper. There should be some kind of a sign in the room telling about where the ice machine is located.

The room was very clean and comfortable and everything worked. The price was right!

Yes, the water pressure is low, but there’s nothing that the building can do about that you still get clean.

I would totally recommend this property to my friends and family. My sister in law lives in Santa Rosa and told us about it. We read the reviews both good and bad. Perfect location. Marilyn, the front desk employee was awesome. Was worried about the parking because of the comments, but we had zero problems finding parking around the area, never had to park more than two blocks away. It’s a continental breakfast so if you know what continental breakfast means, then you’re A-OK. It was very clean pleasant and will definitely use this property again.

I was especially grateful that they let me check in early. After a red-eye flight, early check-in gave me a chance to shower and rest and get on the California time zone before attending my evening meeting.

We could not get a blanket for the room (which had only a light comforter) bc they had a swim team group using extra beds in rooms, until we suggested going to an unbooked room and taking a blanket from there. There was a bad in the bathroom that came and went, so we didn’t complain but it came back a few times. The breakfast was bad. Just bagged muffins and yogurt and granola. When asked for milk they said they didn’t have milk bc the granola was for the yogurt. The families who wanted to give their kids milk to drink were completely baffled as were we. The weekend we stayed it was almost twice their regular rate. They waived our dog fee - it wasn’t enough.

The water pressure in the shower, the $3 bottle of water at the reception and that even though is dog friendly, there wasn’t really a place for the dog to “go” nearby… not necessarily the hotel’s fault though.

Very nice people at the reception desk, super well thought in every detail, very pet friendly, artsy, comfortable and cozy. A great surprise overall.

The only part of our stay we did not love was the parking, although easy we had to park on the street and feed a meter. Fortunately parking was easy and convenient maybe a block away.

The room or apartment was clean, well maintained and tastefully furnished. Pretty quiet, very comfortable bedding. Wonderful staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

Nothing about the stay itself could have been better. I would just say that it would be an improvement to make very clear in all bookings that parking in the garage costs approximately $20 per day. These additional fees-- whether for amenities, parking, etc.-- have become more commonplace when booking lodging, and are not included in an obvious manner. (Fortunately, because our front desk clerk was wonderful about telling us all we needed to know about the meters out front, we didn't end up paying for parking.)

Unfortunately we didn't have time to get the breakfast.
