There is no sound insulation, every crack of the building and outside noise can be heard in the room. The breakfast is just very bad.

The bed was wide and comfortable.The bed sheets were clean and the room temperature was comfortable. There is a trail on site to take a walk during the day. They also have a little pergola, nice to sit outside.

The bathroom wasn’t really clean because there was hair left in the drain & it had an odor. Wish they had the bottle coffee creamer for the coffee & better breakfast options.

We were in Room 17 in the middle block (some of the few with a second floor) and there was some thumping from the room above around midnight, and also the next morning. I had specifically asked if my room had rooms above (having seen this issue mentioned in another review) and was told that the room above was empty at the time. So that was no bueno, but since we were in the neighborhood for an evening event, and went to bed late ourselves, it was not particularly inconvenient as we were there just one day. Also, the breakfast is not a sit-down space...you just go and pick up breads and beverages etc, and was supposed to go till 9:30 am, but when we went in at 9 am, there were no bagels or muffins left. Just white bread for toasting. So don't pin much on the 'included breakfast' option.

The room and linens and bathroom were clean. Check in was easy.

Other than the limited breakfast options there was just a low amount of towels and toilet paper in the room, but it's easily solved by simply asking main office or a lovely housekeeper

I love that Ardsley Acres offers breakfast! I do wish they hadn't gotten rid of the juice options, but other than that everything was lovely!

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and came complete with all the amenities you need for utility and convenience. (fridge/microwave/iron with ironing board/chest of drawers/safe/hairdryer etc.) I also liked the location; it's situated on an easily accessible road in a very relaxed area and nearby options for food, groceries etc. That said, I'd recommend renting a vehicle if you plan on traveling any further as taxi fares can quickly add up. Fortunately, we were able to rent a vehicle for the week at a fairly affordable rate using the Uber app from a Shell service station nearby.

The smoke room really smelt like smoke, floors were a little sticky I wore slippers.

Staff was friendly. Bathroom was clean loved the showers, sink and mirror. Bed was comfortable and room was cozy good location if you’re travelling solo or with family, quiet area close to gas station if your driving a car.
